My internet sucks, when watching youtube I'm limited to 1080/30, but sometimes not even that. I've recently heard about this av1 thingy, and it looks like just what I need to finally view content at 1080/60. Any cheap tv box that could do the job?
I need one with an usb port tho. If rarely, I still watch movies and shows sometimes.
Maybe the new Chromecast HD. Heard it works with YouTube really well.
You want decoding, not encoding.
The problem is that unless you're going to rip your own stuff, noone is using AV1 yet (Or at least, hardly anyone)

Verizon Stream TV (gen 2) does fit your bill. I have that with a 3rd party launcher. It's pretty good. You can look on eBay for people selling for cheap. I got mine for about $25.
