Hello. Does anyone know how to pair the remote control with the philips oled706 tv? I do not have such an option in the settings, and the pairing button on the remote control does not cause the TV to react in any way.

On my Philips with android it is (translated to English menu) All settings-> wireless connections->remote control.( same sub menu where Wifi and Bluetooth settings are).

enable remote ADB in pilips android TV

search for "How to Set Up and Use ADB Wirelessly With Android"
(I used this app: com.waxrain.telnetd)
connect adb in my PC

adb connect TV_IP:5555

START PAIRING ACTIVITY:
adb shell am start -n com.android.tv.settings/.accessories.AddAccessoryActivity
press the pairing button on the remote until the LED flashes (2-4 seconds)
Two devices are detected, an audio headset and a remote with a cross. I selected the controller

and works!!!

tip: do not choose the cheapest remote control... mine does not have a quality microphone, a usb conference microphone inserted into the TV worked better for me
