Hello everybody

I have one xiaomi mibox 4k with only two apps installed.

I use the box ocassionally. So far, I have had no problems.

Today (after one month of not using it) I updated these two apps and I started to experience big problems with picture quality while streaming on the apps and on youtube.

I cannot get 4k picture quality.

I installed three or four different appliacations to test my internet connection. And it turns out that the mibox has very low download speeds (1Mbps-15Mbps) . This explains my problems with terrible picture quality.

However, I cannot find the solution to my problem.

This is what I have done so far:

1. I tested my fibre-optic internet speed on my notebook and on my tablet (android). It works excellent. Downloads from 150 Mbps to 300Mbps. (both wifi and ethernet)
2. I connected the Mibox with the router wired via USB ethernet adapter - no effect.
3. I tested the Mibox on WiFi - the same problem.
4. I have the latest firmaware (android 9) installed on my Mibox.

Why all of a sudden - I have been expriencing this problem?

Is there any remedy?
