So I probably updated my ccwgtv around 2 weeks ago but it was filled bugs like remote wouldn't respond lag etc but a simple restart seemed to fix the issue but now it doesn't wasn't to seem to connect to my wifi it was working as normal for 2 weeks and worked in the morning as I'm writing this but midday it just wouldn't connect with errors such as Wi-Fi password incorrect even though it is correct I've done all the troubleshooting from restarting plugging and unplugging as well as turning off and on the router but it seems to connect to my hotspot fine but even then there were disconnects happening. so I decided to reset the device which I though would fix but it still won't connect and had to finish the setup with my hotspot any ideas as to what may be the problem. Wi-Fi works fine on other devices. Also wanted to point out that I’ve owned the device for almost a year on the same Wi-Fi and had no issues at all just after the update it seems to have not been working
See if Google can send you another device.
But in the meantime, what router do you have? Try unplugging power for 5 mins. Are the 2.4/5ghz networks combined? Try separating them and connect to one or the other.
If you have a decent router backup the settings and reset it, I know now it's a hassle to do and don't do it if it's a headache.
If you do contact Google don't tell them it works on a hotspot they'll blame your wifi.
If it has any issues with connecting to your hotspot like you said, sounds like an issue with the device. Try resetting it again and just set it up as new (if you can, forget how the setup works).
