It's so dumb. Like why wouldn't it have most capabilities and you have to fire up a web browser on your TV to actually use YouTube with all the features. Even basic stuff like seeing like counts. Why not Google?

I don't use a web browser on my TV and it works great
Most streaming apps don't have a full webpage experience. If counts are so important for some reason then yes, use a browser. I'm just glad YouTube finally showed comments.
Because it's a TV, not a desktop.
Because it'll increase the app size & lag more
Because less is more as always.
