Xiaomi box colors are messed up after playing a YouTube video

Question

I have a Xiaomi Mi box 4, which has issues with the color balance. It boots up normally, but then once I play a YouTube video the colors change and skin colors become way too red, and this effect remains visible in the general Android TV UI.

Is this a known issue with the device, or Android TV in general?

TV is a Samsung Frame 2021, 65”

I used to have the same issue, does this happen after playing hdr video? The only solution I can find is to quickly turn off and turn on the tv box
