Just bought a new TCL C635 TV featuring GoogleTV.
Whenever I try to search apps through the home screen, be it by voice or by text- it fails and says something like "something went wrong, please try again".
However, I do can search and install apps without problems through Google Play, but it's a hassle to open it from the settings everytime.
After reading about the issue I tried version update, disabling IPv6 on my router and freeing app cache- nothing worked.
Would appreciate some help here.
that error on other devices usually means that the assistant cannot access the internet for some reason.
do you have assistant on your phone? does it work? or do you have any other google device, speaker etc?
