I'm looking for a good content hub that curates from multiple services. Right now, I use a Firestick because it sort of does that. The only issue is that it puts Amazon content first and everything else as an afterthought. If at all.
The Google TV website and blog make it look like it does this. I used the app on my phone just to see what it can do.
Is the attached photo really all that Google TV can pull content from? Or is there more available on the Chromecast with Google TV?

It's location dependant as In the UK I have the same options as you with Netflix and Disney+ but when I activate my VPN and change location to US the list is endless
Don't forget Kanopy or Hoopla depending on which one you local library subscribes to. Lots of good free content you just need a library card and it has no ads.

At least in Italy what you see on the mobile app is not all you can see on Google tv
Not gonna lie, Chromecast is almost exactly what you're looking at. Unfortunately, that is everything that you can pull from. I prefer the rows of suggestions like on Android TV, because it fetches the data from apps rather than Google, so more options. You should check out the Mecool Sticks, Xiaomi TV Stick 4K, or go to US when you can and hopefully snatch a Onn TV Box.

There's a Crave option on the Chromecast but still no watch button for Crave
Maybe I don't understand the question but that list is only the most popular services but you can install anything you want in there.
I have two Google TVs and I have Bell Fibe TV app, Crave, Crunchyroll and even Kodi installed on all of them. I'm not sure what you're asking. You can install literally whatever you want that is available in the Google Play Store.
I have a Roku and I stopped using it when I got my Google TVs.
I'm also in Canada.
