hellow, I'd like to turn on my TV box using some kind of automation. The first idea was using Alexa, I can turn off the device but I didn't find a command to send a wake on lan to my device. Also I don't know if android TV boxes that use cable/lan have this feature. Can someone help me?
Feel free to also send some help and tips to other kind of automation, I have abertosonorus, tasker and iftt that made me love even more Android TV.
All my android TVs simply turn on when I tell Google to, like "turn on the living room TV". Granted my Hisense didn't work on Google Assistant while on LAN but it did on Wifi, some sort of known issue from the manufacturer.
Edit: if you want to automate it you can have IFTT send Google Assistant commands based on triggers
