When I used to use ATV, my to go weather app was Weather Live. It had the most appealing widgets (to me).

Currently using Transparent Time and Weather app Very nice and versatile widgets

I use my phone to check the weather and I use my TV to watch movies and shows and occasionally to play games. I know it sounds crazy.
