Dynalink Remote Help

by DiscoDaddyNurmouth

When I set up remote for Dynalink it connects to the Dynalink and does not give option to connect to the TV, as in to power Tv on/off.

Ive set up the CEC this allows me to turn on the TV but not turn off. The CEC powers the dyna-box and this wakes the TV.

I have a Onn 4k Streaming box and it has the function Im asking about in the set up..Has anybody run in to this?

So leaving this up just on case someone else runs in to the same issue with Dynalink.

The Dynalink remote does not power the tv via IR, only CEC through hdmi. The Onn remote is different, when pairing the Onn remote to the Dynalink I can control tv power.

This may not be an issue for your tv, its not supposed to be an issue for mine either. My tv recognized Dynalink CEC but the remote will only power tv on, not turn off tv. The Onn skips CEC and offers to program remote like a universal remote during initial setup
