Hey, I am considering buying either the Nokia Streaming Box 8010 or the Formuler z11 Pro Max 4k.
The Formuler is not certified, but the support here is very good and updates are provided regularly. Does anyone have experience with the Nokia Streaming Boxes regarding updates?
im looking for a beefy box with AV1 and Netflix/Amazon support too
I have the 8000 for a while now and had 1 update when I put it on the first time. After that none.
Its a nice, fast and stable device with a really nice remote with backlight. If your considering running kodi on it you will run into storage and ram issues, well issues..android tv just force closes it if you open another app...I dont like that.. (you can fix storage by adding a usb stick)
Device would have been excellent if they added more RAM and storage into it.
Got an android tv now and installed most on there so I am not using it much anymore.
THe 8010 is basically not on the market yet... I have one on pre order since it was announced and nothing has been shipped yet.
I had no choice as I wanted a beefy box with AV1 and Netflix/Amazon support... So I will see, once it will be shipped to me....
