I would try to connect your phone to the AVR and play Spotify from your phone.
Spotify will play in the background as long as the foreground app doesn't take over audio. For example I have a bowling game that normally mutes Spotify but if I mute the game via its settings then I get my music. With YouTube your best bet is to go thru your browser app, try it you'll see.
Only way I can think of is if u connect a wireless speaker to your phone and then play YouTube on the TV.
