So I am able to install a few streaming apps, but 90% of the apps ive tried give me this error. Ive already tried clearing the cache of google store.

I was very happy with my mi box S.. I didn't use it for a year or more.. now it is showing full screen video ads every once in a while.

I cannot be 100% sure it is the box and not the hotel tv but since it responds to my mi box s remote I assume it's the box.

What other android tv boxes do this?

And what are the best ones that don't? I mean best reasonably priced ones.. under $50

So I was watching cable tv on my TV(connected via HDMI) on my tv and suddenly chrome browser opens up(and chrome I can’t find the chrome browser on my TV) and some porn video starts playing on my TV. This has been happened twice so far and I can’t think of or find any reason this is happening.

Is there any update for this one? It says it's the latest version and I'm on AndroidTV 10

Hisense tv running google/android tv. Issue started 2 weeks ago. I'm sure it's the peacock app itself, but since it's not happening on the Samsung tv, I wanted to ask here.

What are the main differences? I heard Roku has free live channels, does google tv have that as well?

I bought a generic box off Amazon, and it had a weird version of android on it. I'm thinking about installing Google TV onto it with adb, any thing I ought to know? Other better ways or OS's while I'm doing it?

I'm trying to get the best surround sound. My stereo receiver is older and has HDMI outputs as well as optical. I'm using optical and it allows Dolby Digital but not DD plus. My receiver only supports DD+ through HDMI connection. There probably isn't a way to output HDMI to stereo without ARC support? I think maybe long term I need a newer receiver with ARC.

No matter which apk i try to install on my sony a80j google tv, i get some sort of errors. trying to prep for world cup. the manafacture and or operating system provider for this device has not secured the necessary rights for this application. nvm

After the last update to Android 12, I'm having the following issues:

When I config the Dolby Vision settings to "standard mode", the media that is in HDR format, plays in SDR format (even though the option says prefer dolby vision, not always dolby vision).

When I set Dolby Vision to "Low Latency mode", things work right. When I play HDR media, it appears in HDR, and when I play a DV content, it plays in DV.

The issue is that after I turn off the TV, the DV setting goes back to standard. I have to set it to low latency everytime I turn on the TV.

So my two questions are: is it possible to play HDR and DV in standard mode? And, is it possible to keep the low latency setting after turn off the tv?

My tv is a LG C1, with the lastest firmware update.

I have a Chromecast with Google TV (Ethernet/media hub with power pass through adapter), and I thought I'd found a solution which was to allow the settings app through NordVPN with split-tunnelling. Worked for a week and then stopped.

As soon as I connect to a server, I get the dreaded 'Ethernet not connected' and 'internet connection lost' messages.

Is there really no option other than to use WiFi? I just can't believe it at this point.

So I've heard of things like streamio, is there a way to cleanly connect services like crackle, freevee, the roku channel etc with something like that? Streamio has the links but you just get redirected... not ideal.

I have the Mi stick and it keeps rebooting. I've read a lot of people have the same issue, but I don't know if this is specific to the stick for whatever reason or if the box would have the same issue. Maybe it's power related that the box wouldn't face?

With the new update to google tv mouse toggle isn't working ( mouse appears and moves around but can't select anything). Any ideas on a fix?

Hi guys, more than a year ago, my dad who is not realy into tech stuff, he saw an ad on facebook and bought that mxo pro 4k, at first glance I saw that it was not a good product, but ok, together with it, they sold an infinite iptv app that would not stop working, it stoped in 5 months, we tried contacting them but the disappeared, so we stoped using it, some time ago I said "I am going to make that work and get a good iptv to my father.". When I turned it on, it would not leave the android page, I searched on internet and it still didn't work, I realized the reset button was not working, does anyone know what I do now? So on my existing ones I have it signed in with one main account, which is a workspace account. But for my youtube TV one I am using a regular account. But it ONLY reflects in youtube TV, I can go into the app and it defaults to that account but the moment I go back to the home screen it goes right back to operating my main account and going into other apps also uses that account.

But on the new ones I set up it acts like to fully separate accounts, I have to swtich between the two and when I turn on the chromecast with android TV it keeps prompting me for which account I want.

Is there a way to get it back to the old way? Where its basically one account for the chromecast but then youtube TV only uses the second account?
