I want a 32 inch tv to just watch some yt and play with my xbox

My budget is around 250 euros

Trying to download YouTube TV on my brand new TCL Google TV. I am in the USA and so is my wifi. Cannot do so because I get the error stated in the title. Solutions?

Are there other ways to program these remotes? It tries one code for me then gives up. Anyone have a Nakamichi Soundbar they're using with one of these?

I have an Android 9 tv connected to an LG soundbar via optical cable. The problem is that the tv and the soundbar just don't communicate other than sound, so features like auto-power and auto-volume doesn't work

I just noticed the channels app had regular monthly updates untill November 2020 + it's no longer a system app, should we be prepping for Google to kill it..? Done some research and seen no information on what they are doing with love TV related stuff...

Hey guys. So I wanna get a cheap android TV box. Like really dirt cheap. Cheaper than even the Mi Box S. Currently I'm looking at the Tanix TX3 Mini with the amlogic S905W, 2GB RAM & 16GB ROM. As it is like around 25 USD in my country & has custom ROM (atv experience; android 9) available for it along with root access. Which is kinda important for me. I don't care for widevine L1 certification as I don't use streaming services. I am looking for something for media consumption, lightweight browsing & maybe some lightweight office work via something like WPS office. So, will the TX3 Mini be enough?

I have lost the original on screen keyboard, the one with the black background and white text.

Any solutions?

Android TV is the SKYWORTH HY4415 and it is provided by my internet/cable provider.

Don't know if this is the place to ask this but I have a dumb non-4K TV from SHARP. The current setup I have is a Mi TV Stick which is connected to the TV (through HDMI) and also connected (through Bluetooth) to a SONY Speaker (as the built-in TV speaker has TERRIBLE sound quality), and we basically only watch NETFLIX and YOUTUBE only. The problem is, due to some fluctuations at home, the Stick has started bugging out and we're desperately looking for a replacement.

SO, what I need is a TV stick that can do 2 things:

A) Play Netflix & Youtube (duh)

B) Connect to my speakers and run sound off of that (This is important as I also have a ROKU but it doesn't connect with my speakers)

That's it. I don't need it to have 4K capability as my TV is non-4K. I just need it to be good quality and fast (and not tremendously expensive) but above 2 are the only things I need it for. Wold love any suggestions. Thank you. sorry if post too long :(

It's so dumb. Like why wouldn't it have most capabilities and you have to fire up a web browser on your TV to actually use YouTube with all the features. Even basic stuff like seeing like counts. Why not Google?

The play store YouTube app is quite bad, the fire TV one that comes inbuilt with my Insignia TV is great. Can anyone help me get it on the minix u9 box?

Hi All, I am having trouble setting up my Sony Bravia with built-in Chromecast via Google Home.

I can switch on and off the TV with the Google TV app (remote floating button), but Assistant and Routines do not seem to be able to manage the device. Whenever I set up a routine or give a command via the Assistant, nothing happens.

In the Home quick button on my Pixel 4, if I click on the Android TV, it opens the widget - I can adjust the volume, but it says "Not playing" and apart from the volume setting I can only choose to cast.

Interestingly if I try to add the device again to Google Home, it does not find it, even though both of them are on the same network.

Any suggestion?

I'm loving SCL3, but after using it for a week or so now, I have a couple of questions.

1. Is there a way on the Hisense U8H to create a shortcut on one of the rows to a specific input, like HDMI 1?
2. How can I set SCL3 as the default launcher (on bootup) on a Hisense U8H and also on an Nvidia Shield 2017 (different TV)?

I have a Philipps 55/807 television which has Android TV installed.

I downloaded VLC and am streaming movies from a seedbox. If I raise the playback speed above 1x, the sound remains fine but the image starts to stutter and I see skipped frames. On an Nvidia Shield with the same Internet, the image and sound are fine.

Does anyone know how to resolve this? Internet speed is not the issue as I have over 250MBit down speed.

I see that the app has been around for a while and heard good stuff, tried it and love it.

My problem is that if mod apps aren't open-source (Is it? I found the GitHub repo but not the source code) I'm very wary to use them, especially when the app uses the account token and has such access.

For the users who have experience with the app, is it open-source and do you trust it to not read your messages or do anything malicious?
