In the non-working versions of Prime Video, what's the issue? Does the app crash to home screen on trying to play anything other than trailers or does it give a pop-up saying 'problem encountered', unable to play video?

A few weeks ago I was able to turn on and off my Sony 900f with Cromecast built in via my Google Home. Recently I haven't been able to. I don't know what changed, but it was working great and over those few weeks I become very use to using it to power the TV. Why doesn't it work anymore? Am I missing something?

I'm considering picking one up for our house move in which we will have a second living room.

We currently stream media from Plex on a NUC and i have steamlink in the living room also. So this would be used for both media and light gaming.

It would also possibly be used for IPTV.

My concern would be support moving forward on the older hardware.. i dont want to buy a really expensive android box only for it to be worthless this time next year or the near future.

Hi, I want a tv box that can play h265 videos on my 1080p tv. I use my ps4 to stream from my laptop for h264 videos. Ps4 upscaling is amazing. Is there any tv box that gives similar picture quality? And can you stream content from your laptop using wifi. Thanks.

i have an android box and when i try to play a movie on it the movie got a dynamic sound so it have a low volume for the dialogue and high for the explosions and music and sound effects that make it annoying for people around you is there any fix for that ?

Just ordered a mi box s to replace my old Nexus player. Wanted to keep Android TV but couldn't afford a sheild. Loved my NP but was getting old and buggy. Hope I made a wise choice with the Mi box.

4k h265 video files start fine, play fine....

Sorry if this isn't the right sub, but anytime I Google "Air Mouse," this subreddit comes up.

I want an air mouse but for my Android phone. I hold my phone in my left hand, and control the mouse with my right. I know it sounds ridiculous but my girlfriend sleeps on my right arm every night (which I love), and it's hard to use phones one handed these days.

I suppose a touchpad would be okay too. Using a joystick sounds awkward. I have the Gear VR and the remote that comes with it for my Galaxy S8 and it's really fun to use! But for some reason, you can't use it outside of VR. So I'm trying to replicate that experience a little. Use the air mouse to play games such as Old School Runescape Mobile, or just scroll through Reddit before I sleep.

Does anyone know of a no click remote? Love the android tv but I want to watch in bed and wife usually falls asleep first. And the clicking from the current remote wakes her. Even under a pillow no luck.

Just need a soft touch remote and a Google search does nothing.
