Hello there,
I was wondering if any Nexus Player owners out there have had any luck with USB Ethernet adapters. I have been struggling with it for awhile now.
I own a 3 port USB hub + Ethernet that I tried to get working. I used a micro otg usb cable, but the player did not recognize it at all. It recognized the hub, as I could plug in and use a keyboard.
So I then bought this adapter here but that still did not work with my nexus player.
I hooked that second adapter to both my Nexus 6 (5.0.1) and my HTC M8(4.4) and the phones were able to recognize them and it worked. So am I doing something wrong or is the nexus player extra picky with usb ethernet?
If anyone could link me to one that is known to work that would be great too.
I am loving this app/launcher. As of right now this can not be made as your home launcher but it might be better if it isn't. The customization in this app is what the Leanback Launcher should have by default. The ability to make your own sections, name them what you want, and put apps and games alike in each section is a great user experience.

I just recieved my Nexus Player today, I set it up and everything was a breeze. I was just listening to music on google play when all of a sudden the screen went to a colourful static.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? The device is still running because music is still playing, I can pause the music and navigate the menu with the remote. Its just the display is all static.
The nexus is plugged into the same AV Receiever my chromecast was. So far this has only happened once. Should I return it? Or is this a common problem?
First join the Kodi Beta group, or if you prefer the latest and greatest you can join the Kodi Alpha group.
Next become a tester
Lastly install the app from the playstore (Note: It might take a couple minutes for google to register that you are a tester. It will say app not found or something like that if you go to that link prematurely.)
*** IF YOU JOIN BOTH THE BETA AND ALPHA COMMUNITES IT WILL ALWAYS DOWNLOAD THE APP FOR THE LATEST BUILD
I was just made a mod today to make this subreddit have a little life to it. This current theme is based off of dscvry. I added some styling that matches the look of https://www.android.com/intl/en_us/tv/. I will be adding user flair to show which device you have too.
Please leave feedback on what you think, and leave any suggestions or concerns you have.
EDIT: User flair is now enabled
