This is the only app I've seen that wants the "Device & app history" permission. It "Allows the app to view one or more of: information about activity on the device, which apps are running, browsing history and bookmarks". What legitimate use could they possibly have for this? It seems to me like this would allow Netflix to track everything I do with the device, and possible other devices depending on what is synced from my Google account. I was thinking about trying Netflix again after not using it for a few years, but now I'm not so sure.

I'm in the market for an Android TV box and I'm wondering one thing. I'm really impressed with what Xbox One does. In case anyone's not familiar, Xbox One has an hdmi input, an hdmi output, and while you're on your xbox you can pull up your tv signal. This allows you to switch between using the device (the Xbox) and watching tv, without switching between inputs. Is there such thing as an Android tv box that works like that?

I recently purchased the Enjoy Quadcore TV Box, it came preinstalled with a bunch of stuff (like Kodi). I am having a hard time getting it to load. I often get the error one or more items failed to play. check the log for details. This error pops up whenever I am attempting to stream something. Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of a box that Sky Go will run on ? I bought a Mobi Dazzle (An S805 box) but because it has custom firmware on it, it sees it as rooted and will not stream anything..

Just curious for the early adopters...does the Nexus Player support installing the Amazon Appstore?

The FireTV supports the Google Play Store sideload, so I'm curious if the Nexus Player can do the inverse.

Like the title says I want a way to stream television and movies to android tv, but i dont like the (IMO) complex UI of xbmc...

Ive used apps like showbox and portal tv on my other android devices, and i kow those aent fully compatible with android tv.. i want to know if there are any alternatives yet for android tv (besides casting from those apps)

I've never noticed it being available anywhere else until earlier today when I noticed it in one of the electronics cabinets at Wal-Mart. Just a heads up if someone is hesitant to order online.

I really like the Showbox app, which I use to stream shows from my Android tablet to TV via Chromecast. The playback is often very choppy, and at some times completely unusable (due to spotty wifi in my house). Does anyone know if Showbox can be installed on an Android TV device? If so I would be able to cut out the middle man and see much improved playback (especially on a device with Ethernet). Thanks.
