Onn TV box was factory reset and I don't have the remote. Remotes cost as much as the product itself, should I just buy a different device?

Is there a way to Stop Bluetooth on a 32-inch MiTV-AXSO0 TV? It automatically connects to Bluetooth speakers.

Whenever the TV is on in the same room where speakers are kept, as soon as speakers are turned on, those connect to the TV automatically. Cannot find a setting that can help me enable/disable Bluetooth.

I have to manually unpair speakers every time and pair those again..

Please NOTE even Mi Remote is connected via bluetooth.

Hoping to buy my father in law, visiting from Malaysia, a Chromecast with Google TV for Christmas. However, if it won't work there due to NTSC/PAL issues, I don't want to waste time/money getting it here (in the US). (I know the US model comes with a US power adapter, but getting one of those in Malaysia is easy. I also assume the 220V/50 Hz power there won't be an issue since the adapters all put out the same voltage/current, typically.)

Should I buy him one here, or just somehow get one from Shopee or Lazada in Malaysia (which seems riskier to me)? Thanks!

I know, there have been quite a few postings about this topic, but i wanna share my experience and disappointment here too!

After all the mess with Google audio devices, speaker groups and multi room casting lately i wanted to give Google another chance by lifting my Android TV experience with the "latest and greatest" CCwADT, choosing the HD version, as my setup (Samsung TV + Samsung Home Theatre linked via HDMI/ARC) was one of the better ones back in the HD days and so it should fit quite perfectly and raise it's software capabilities into 2022! It didn't take too long after setting up everything and doing the usual update routines, that i got grounded hardly once more... no Dolby Digital sound at all, using the usual suspects (e.g. Netflix, Prime, Youtube) and no matter if connected to TV (trying passthrough or whatever via HDMI/ARC) or to home theatre directly using HDMI.

Also trying every single sound setting in Android 12 didn't fix anything. Setting ouput to Dolby Digital+ at least managed to get 5.1 option in Netflix / Prime but didn't play anything at all - i know, those apps only output Dolby Digital+ and so my setup doesn't seem to decode the streams... but here comes the big BUT!

Same setup, same connections but Mi Box S with Android 9 sends the expected stream to my setup and everything works as promised! So i did cross check.

When using custom sound output settings, nothing works in Dolby Digital - no matter if Mi Box S (Android 9) or CCwADT HD (Android 12), but when setting Mi Box S (Android 9) sound output to S/PDIF my tv recognises Dolby Digital stream and passes it on to home theatre! Besides i'm not using optical out but HDMI/ARC, i'm wondering what kind of stream (bitstream? dolby digital? dolby digital+?) is forwarded to tv / home theatre? At least this setup is capable of perfect Dolby Digital audio! I also know Mi Box S has optical out (S/PDIF), maybe that's why this setting exists in Android 9 at all?

CCwADTV HD doesn't have optical out and the option (setting output to S/PDIF) is missing (not sure it's cause is missing S/PDIF or if Android 12 doesn't have this option at all).

Google get your things together and add Dolby Digital support for older higher class HD devices to your "high class" HD device. That it's possible and not related or limited by my setup i clearly cross checked now and it's really embarassing that a 4 year old Android 9 device outperforms your latest streaming experience when it comes to surround sound! :(

HI All Ambilight users,

this TV comes with Google assist and I've seen some adverts saying voice commands work (we also have a google nest at home and use a lot) .

Yet i can't get it to work, or find much online to say if actually is a feature or not.

Is it possible? Has anyone had any luck? Which settings should i be looking at.

Good day, i am unable to get the mi tv stick 4k to set to 4k60 - the max is 4k30. Is this normal, as i do not have the same problem when connecting the same tv to mac or pc?

Just installed a new wall mount and turned on the tv and now looks like this, any ideas?

Two days ago while watching the TV the message for an update popped up.
I accepted and it started installing the update. When it finished the TV restarted but it never passed through the black screen with the TCL logo.

I remained like that for about 1 hour. Then I unplugged it and plugged it back but the same issue remained.

I have tried several different "fix" methods but none of them have worked so far.

Also, this tv does not come with a dedicated reset button in the back.

Only thing that I think could work is to somehow install a previous software/firmware version through a USB, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I called technical support and the only thing they could do was to try to connect me with a technician.

Has anyone here had this problem when updating your OS?

Is there anyway to get my projector running Android TV to boot straight into HDMI1 instead of the AndroidTV Home Screen?

EDIT : Enabling CEC in my projector’s and receiver’s settings solved this issue.

I have a Hisense U6H Google TV and am unable to change the audio output. The only option that isnt greyed out is the standard output. I cannot select ARC. My setup is as follows: TV>ARC-HDMI adapter>External speakers. I'm thinking that the adapter might be the issue. The TV is automatically directing all audio to the ARC connection except from certain apps (mainly Kodi). Anyone have any ideas?

the Eurosport Player will be discontinued in January 2023 and getting replaced by the Eurosport app which is not available for Google TV. I've downloaded the apk and installed it from an USB Stick but it doesn't start.

Is there a solution to make it run on my Sony X90J TV?

I had a Sennheiser BT T100 Bluetooth transmitter hooked up to my LG TV because the TV's Bluetooth was pretty weak. It worked out of the box. Plug in a toslink cable between TV and transmitter and it just worked. I wanted to do the same with my Xiaomi MiBox S (4K) but I get no audio out over its mini toslink. Light's on but nobody home.

FIX: I happen to have two MiBoxes. When I tried the other one, the optical works without any setup. Either the first MiBox is broken or the other is another model, which is certainly possible. The one that works has a white LED shining from between the grille on the front, and its remote has buttons for Netflix and Prime Video. The one that doesn't work has no light on the front and has a button for Netflix and, I think, Google Play Video.

Hi guys, is there an iOS remote app for my Philips TV that actually WORKS? I'm sick of trying apps that fail to work.

And a second question. My physical remote started draining the batteries, in like a few days. Why is this happening?

Has anyone tried this? Google Chromecast with Google TV is great for streaming, but is no Nvidia Shield. But if you have an old android phone you could connect to your tv as a set top box, you could save a lot of money.

I am not able to use the mouse with the google tv after last update. I tried with a virtual mouse or one pair over Bluetooth or using the usb c single with cable. Any fix for this ?

If you want to know the reason of this , is because there is a app for movies and the remote do not work to select the titles there

I can't see BBC iPlayer in the store and the version I have installed won't open. Has this app been cancelled? TV is a Sony.
