I live in Canada and when I put my VPN to the UK, suddendly the home interface changed to an older update. What happened and how could this happen?

Is there any app that allows to load love tv channels and iptv m3us at the same time?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but as the title says, I'm using an old laptop attached to a monitor as a tv and I was wondering if I can use the spotify android tv app on windows because it's remote control friendly.

So I just switched from a 3rd gen firestick to this guy and while the remote can control the volume/power of my sound bar it will only turn off one of three, my TV, stick, or soundbar but not all 3 at once. To clarify, when I pressed the power button on my firestick remote it turned off/on the TV and soundbar at the same time. So now I have to use my soundbar remote if I want to turn it on/off? Or am I missing something. I have a basic optic connected soundbar not HDMI.

I've had 2 of these for about a year now and I've not regretted the purchase for a minute. I can't say that about my Chromecasts (which I quickly sold) or even my Rokus which have been mostly reliable. But the ONN devices have worked consistently, had regular updates, and have not let me down like other devices. What has your experience with them been?

Is there a way to use my normal old samsung tv and my fire tv or android tv box to make it work like a smart t. like with the features like controlling the hdmi it’s on?

The Android tv screen can clearly double as a post it board. Does anyone know of any apps that let me put notes / reminders on the screen saver screen?

my TCL P8M updated from Android 9 to 11, since then i noticed a big performance drop.

• apps too slow
• subtitles not showing in local video
• frame drop when casting video so i'm wondering if there any chance to downgrade to my previous fimware (Android 9).

Okay, so while I have no trouble mirroring my android phone to the tv, for pc it seems to be more troublesome, as I tried to connect it in various ways with no luck yet. When going to 'connect to a wireless display' settings, the tv simply won't show up in the list no matter what. In the end I succeded to connect my pc to the tv in 'devices and printers' as a 'different device', though it's not recognized as a tv (but as a an 'unknown device'). And to make things clear, my pc supports miracast and recognises other tvs, but not this one for some reason.
Also I found out along the way that the tv couldn't find not even one bluetooth device when I tried to connect it to the wireless speakers.

Just got the Apple TV 4K 64 gig. Amazon had it for 139. I like my Nvidia Shileld Pro 2019 but the Apple 4k and apple arcade and streaming seems so much better and with great video support. Seems so much smoother and a clean interface.

Suddenly, the Pluto app gets as far as the Pluto Drop In. It’s free. message and stops. If I wait, I get a retry which doesn’t work either. Anyone else having this issue? Any known fixes?

My Mi 4X tv is a 100% android 4K tv with L1 widevine support. I also have 100 Mbits internet speed yet I am not able to watch content at 4K/ UHD. The max quality it shows on amazon prime is HD, so I am assuming it is 720p. Any guesses about what I can do?

By the way, I can easily play 4k videos on Youtube.

I've got a lot of video files backed up on a couple portable HDDs and SSDs. When I plug anything into a USB port on an Android device, it writers a bunch of crappy Android folders. When taking the drive back to a PC, Windows alerts me that there's a problem with the drive and it should be scanned/fixed (which doesn't always work). I've never lost any files, but it's a major pain.

Is there a way to make an HDD or SSD write-only either in Android or on a PC? Preferably on a PC before I ever attach it to an Android device. Would that stop Android from writing its file structure junk to the drive?

Any suggestions on how to prevent Android from writing to or altering attached PC drives would be appreciated.

Note: My drives are usually formatted in NTFS. Windows 10.

got the Sony A80J with Google TV and using the internal media player to play some Dolby Vision MP4 files via USB the subtitles menu is greyed out. Is that normal?

mkv DV files only play in SDR and Kodi as alternative doesn't support 24 Hz/refresh rate switching on this TV. Is my only option to rip the subs from the MP4 file?

We have a TV we use as monitor at my office (TLC C825), and this TV is connected to our copany wi-fi, which means anyone at the office can cast random youtube videos to the TV.

Is there a way to set a password or something to block people sharing wi-fi from casting unwanted YT videos? I downloaded Google Home app but I can't seem to find an option for that...

I tried to watch House of the Dragon on my Sony television which has AndroidTV. It starts playing but then freezes in a black screen just as the show starts. I can watch other shows just fine, except for that one and the original GoT series. Eventually I started it on my phone and cast it to the TV. I know in the past I've watched GoT, so something changed. Anyone else have issues playing those shows? I went through all the tips to fix this and nothing helped. It's very odd.

I have researched the Android TV options in order to get one, multiple google tv has appeared on my search but I cannot distinguish the difference or if this would replace android in the near future, does anybody know what would be a better option ?

Hi. When I first bought this TV I could install Kodi and use it without any problem. Now on the play store I get an error unable to install, same if I sideload the apk.

Is there a solution please ?

I've got a Charles proxy server running on my laptop and want to set up my Philips TV to use the proxy but there doesn't seem to be a proxy setting anywhere? Anyone got any experience of this?
