Hi I downloaded vice city stories and it played just fine yesterday but today I get a black screen after a few seconds and it doesn't go away, this is also happening in God of war. Is it a problem Whit the settings?

Mi box s not turning on. When I plug in the power red led comes on, nothing else. I can't return as I bought it from overseas. Any tips on what is causing it and solutions?

Hi folks, first time posting here so apologies if this is the wrong place. I've had my Philips TV for a few months and it was recently updated to the latest version of android TV. Since then I've had issues where the qwerty keyboard on the back of the remote doesn't work. Apparently this is a common issue with the remote and it needs to be paired but it fails to pair every time I try. I've restarted the TV (through the settings) but no luck.

Also prior to the update and also since, I've been unable to set a static ip. The option is there to select but nothing happens when I do. I've contacted Philips support via twitter and they recommend I call them but thought I'd ask here first in case anyone had any similar experiences.

Any ideas? Any and all suggestions or comments are welcome.

Ours is a apartment type building with 3 families.. We all share same network with different wifi access points.. I recently got a new android tv which has built-in chromecast support.. The problem is my neighbours could cast video to my tv even though they are in a different WiFi AP in the same network.. I have a 3 year old kid who watches yt kids very often.. I'm worried if my neighbours would cast something inappropriate when my kid watches TV.. Any solution to stop my tv show up to my neighbours apart from disabling cast itself?!

My Mibox has just updated to build OPR6.170623.013.2550.

They have finally fixed the refresh rate switching. It was not even in the update notes, but I have tested in Plex and Kodi. FINALLY!!!

The notes also mentioned a wifi fix, wake up fix, Netflix artifacts fix and BT remote fix.

Is there any word about Stadia compatibility with any current Android TV OS boxes? There is Bluetooth and Chromecast support

So before anyone just instantly blasts me for asking this question I want you to really think about it and give me a legitimate answer.

Is the 100 dollar difference really worth it?

Interfacing, both have Gb ethernet ports, both have (2) USB 3.0, both obviously have HDMI, the Jetstream has optical audio which supports Dolby Atmos

Internal storage for the base Shield is dismal, as is the internal storage of the Jetstream, so thats no real comparison

Anyone know the WiFi module specs on either device?

I have heard that Netflix is unreliable on JetStream which wouldn't be ok with the wife thats for sure.

Jetstream apparently has a very user friendly interface for creating custom Kodi builds, not sure about Shield. Even though they claim an open apk platform...is it really?

I am not set on buying either one and for me money is by no means a factor...but if I can get a similar product and pocket a hundred for my klipsch system upgrade...I'll definitely do it

I know NVIDIA shield is the best but I dont need the high power gaming ability and figured I would look for something a bit cheaper.

Hi everyone, I have an android TV that was working absolutely fine on my home WiFi network but is now refusing to connect. It will see my network for a few seconds, then it will either state it as having no bars, too many bars or either being "disabled" or "saved"

Furthermore, the google assistant doesn't work anymore, it does not open when I press the button and when it does, it freezes the box and I have to restart. What's interesting is that during these freezes (which are also caused by putting it into standby mode with the power button) I can hold the power button to access a menu with the power off and restart options and this works

If anyone knows why these issues are happening, please let me know, I'm pulling my hair out because ethernet is impractical unless I can find a really long cable which isn't easy
