I upgraded my Sony Bravia 2015 4K to Marshmallow, and now Mame4Droid can no longer find the USB thumbdrive that I use to hold my ROMs. It used to be browseable under /storage/sda but now /storage only contains "emulated" and "self", both of which are empty.

Does anyone know what path represents USB storage in Marshmallow?

We're using the Google remote from the Playstore on my tablet to run it, but I really just want a new remote. Can't seem to find one anywhere. Considering buying Android TV (either Mi Box or Nexus box). I want to know a little more about Backdrop, or about daydream or whatever app is available to display photos as a screensaver.

Wondering what comes built in with the stock setup? Is it Backdrop? Are there alternatives?

so my questions:

1. Can I display photos from either google photos, flickr, or even a USB?

2. I have about 2000 photos in 40 albums, I want to randomly scroll through these so I get good variation. Is that possible?

3. Along with an onscreen clock, is it possible to also display meta information such as the date the photo was taken, and the title of the album (or some other descriptor)?

My Android TV came with Google play music version 5.9.X. the latest version is 7.X but I can't find an update on the play store, why?

Occasionally the Mibox will develop a issue where the resolution gets bad, text looks blocky, etc. On restart it sorts itself out. Any ideas?

Is it possible to use voice search with the Nvidia shield tablet with SPMC? If I tap the middle button in search it just loads Google voice search. Is there any way to fix this?

Just bought a FireTV, and not sure if I'm a huge fan - I hate all the ads.

I has a MiBlx before but returned it - mainly because the Plex app wasn't exactly what the FireTV/PMP version looked like.

I guess I have 2 questions: -has the AndroidTV Plex UI been updated recently? -DirectTV Now app - is this available on Android TV? Looks like FireTV only?

I just feel like AndroidTV doesn't have the support that other platforms do.

Few days ago I bought a new Bravia TV (50W80xC). When i was setting it up, I couldnt connect it to my WiFi, but I blamed my old shitty router. Yesterday i bought a new router, set up a network, but it still won't work. My TV doesnt even find the SSID. Using WPS via button or Pin code doesn't work either. All other devices in my house can see the netwotk and connect to it. I also set up a temporary router by tethering from my phone, and the TV can connect to this one. What may be the problem?

I've got a 128Gb Lexar USB flash drive attached to my Mi Box, and I cannot get any app to write to it. (Reading from USB works just fine). Kodi/SPMC cannot create a new folder in the external drive (The option is greyed out), neither can any add-ons save files to its folders. Copying and pasting via ES file explorer fails. I have changed the file system from exfat to Fat32 and NTFS using gparted in Ubuntu with no luck. It seems there is a bug somewhere that makes writing impossible.

Off course using adoptive storage is a waste of time. The flash drive is not available for apps to write to afterwards.

Please does anyone have a way to get around this?

I have 20 apps on my Mi Box. The problem is six of them including Netflix/Sling/Pandora aren't showing in my apps row. The only way I can get to them is via settings/device/apps.

This occurred after I turned off the recommended row via xiaomileanbackcustomizer. I tried turning back on the recommended row and it won't appear. So now two problems.
