im struggling to find a way to get Amazon Prime Vid (in Germany) to work with my MiBox ive imported from the US of A. the amazon prime launcher app doesnt seem to work for me, it just displays the same shows over and over again. And the "leaqed" apks for Sony TVs install just fine but dont play any media.

Bought prime and using prime video and will not work with my android box :(

Any solutions?

I'm simply wondering if somebody successfully have tried to pair the Amazon remote with the new Mi Box?

I think it's by far the greatest remote for AndroidTV. In particular I like the rewind and fast forward buttons.

I used to copy downloaded movies and TV episodes to a USB drive attached to my WDTV Live, which I just ditched for the Mi Box.

Now I got that same drive, formatted to ExFat, plugged to the Mi Box and working great with Kodi. I can't, however, share it over the network with my Mac. Is there a way to do this?

My Sony Bravia recently had noticeable update which has caused it to go to Input1 every time I turn on the TV even though I have nothing attached to Input1 and "TV" is mapped to Input3.

Anyone know how one can change the default input? I've looked through all the options I could find with no luck.

I bought a SteelSeries Stratus XL for my MiBox to play some emulator games. Tried it out only to find out it hardly works. None of the buttons work except for the left d-pad one.

Is it just me or is the mibox a piece of shit with plex? I'm having major issues with it playing audio fine with video on fast forward. Happens on different severs including plex cloud and different videos from remuxes to reencoded mkvs.

So I have been trying to get Kodi to play movies from my USB hard drive but I can't see to locate it on my Kodi.

I can play it through ES File explorer but I am not able to even get the HDD to scan via Kodi. Can someone point me to the correct path on Nvidia Shield for external drives?

My Sony TV always goes back to the "Digital TV" input after say, turning off the PlayStation. This is fine however it means that my daydream photos never kick in.

I haven't found a good way to exit TV completely – pressing Home only overlays the Home UI and continues playing the TV in the background, complete with sound. The only way I've found is to open Settings and then go back. Which kind of sucks.

Is there a way to change the default input to something else or just nothing? Or a way to exit the TV input? Thanks for your help.

I went to use Netflix on my mi box tonight and for some reason it is talking back to me. I went to accessibility settings and ensured that it was off. Any ideas? I dont see any options in the Netflix app for this. No other app is doing this.

I've got a Xiaomi MiBox (AndroidTV) and want to install the BBC Sports app on it despite not being in the UK. Unfortunately it isn't available in my region.

I know I could probably sideload it but this means I don't get updates etc.

Is it possible to 'fool' an AndroidTV box into thinking it is in another country? How is this determined? I've tried using a UK VPN but that didn't seem to change anything (defined on my router - ALL traffic from MiBox was sent over it).

(EDIT: I am aware that normally BBC content won't play outside the UK, already got this covered via a smart DNS service)

Hi guys, i'm trying to use the twitch app on my android tv box, but the most recent version of the app (4.15.0-1) is pretty bad in terms of navigation since i'm using the android tv remote control and don't want to use a mouse.

Looking trough the web i find out that the first version of this app for android tv is the 4.5.1 version and that it works pretty good for remote controlers.

I was wondering what is the lattest version of the app that works as good as the 4.5.1 version for remote controllers. I'm also facing the same problem with the netflix app (can't select the season properly, and there's no scroll bar in the episodes sections)

So I've had my Xiaomi Mi Box for a week or two now, and am loving it so far. I'm just starting to explore all the cool things I can do.

I remembered that there are builds of Dolphin that work on Android/Android TV, so I went and tried it. Unfortunately, none of the most recent builds will even install. Not even builds that are supposed to work on the Nvidia shield work.

My question is, has anyone gotten it to work (even slowly) on their Mi Box? Let me know if you have, thanks!
