I kept reading this from a lot of users yet i bought it anyway. Any reason why it randomly freezes and you need to pull the plug to force restart the device

On my Sony Bravia TV there is an option to add streaming channels wich are the first to be seen when turning on the TV. The standard app to show up there is Google movies. But I would like to add Twitch Streams and other IPTV streams there. I tried to use Cumulus TV, with wich it should be possible to add twitch streams, but I don't know how, since I don't understand the guide, wich the developer provided. If anyone could help me with my problem I would be highly grateful.

I've got a Mi Box 3 and since the latest update (I've updated about 2 days ago) the 'Promotional Channels' keep enabling itself and showing "spotlight apps" on the homescreen, I think I have disabled it at least 5 times in the past 2 days and it's getting pretty annoying -_-

Just ranting a bit :p maybe someone has a way to actually disable it.

I installed Aerial Dream on my Sony Android TV but it only plays one location before freezing. After that I only get the “Loading Aerial ...” screen. I have cache turned off and videos set to 1080p.

Anyone else having this issue? It sucks cause it makes the app non functional. Also is there any way/website where I can download all the Aerial screensavers then play them witn another screensaver app?

I’m looking for a decent fitness app for my mi box with little luck. I’ve checked both the android tv play store as well as aptoide and the options were underwhelming. I’ve read that some Kodi add ons have decent fitness sections so I’m thinking that may be the way to go. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi guys So the Oreo update for my range of Philips TVs including my beloved OLED 803 arrived and this has also provided Alexa support to the tv through a system APK. I have extracted the system APK and tried to sideload this onto my PUS6401 tv which also runs Oreo. Is there any way this can be done, as I get the permissions not allowed error and when trying to put the SYSTEM APK onto the private-app folder I’m apparently unable to do so.

It seems without fail every time I get an update and it reboots I have to power the unit off twice to let the install finish. I'm guessing this has something to do with replacing my internal drive with an ssd. It will sit at a broken android symbol with the message no command. I power the unit off and back on it does it once more. On the second attempt it finishes the install without issue. This has happened the last 3 updates.

Hi, for last few days I have problem with HDMI-CEC, it was working fine, when I turned on Mi Box, TV turned on, when I turned it off, TV also turned off. But now it does nothing, I tried to reenable CEC settings on my box and also on TV, but it didn't help.

My kids turn the tv off and leave the box on streaming whatever (netflix, iptv etc). Sony vue has a feature on the fire tv that asks if you are still watching after a defined time and disconnects. Does anyone know of an app for this for the entire andriod tv box ?

im looking for suggestions for a vpn on my mi s andriod box before i sign up with one. I currently have purevpn which while cheap and works ok, the andriod tv app's split tunneling feature doesnt work properly as it doesnt list half the installed apps (iroincaly the ones i want to tunnel). Expressvpn (in using the 7 day trial) works perfectly but is $6 a month (purevpn is much less). Does anyone have cheaper as effective vpn suggestions that will let me split tunnel cybertv and tivimate, iplayer etc ?

So I just got a MiBox to replace my FireStick and was sad to see that the Play Store has an extremely limited selection of apps

I tried using apks like Aurora to install apps like UKTV Play, ITV Hub, 4OD and Five On Demand but they're really clunky to use and at times don't work at all...so I was wondering if there was a way to transfer the apks from FireStick to AndroidTV

Or better yet, a way to install the full Fire TV app store onto the Mi Box so that I can keep them updated and install them easier

Does anyone know of any sites that have a decent collection of Android TV specific APKs?

If I switch it of in the Google home app I says it can't connect to my TV but all other functions work like casting and volume control. I have a tcl U49P6064 is this a command problem and do you guys know of any fixes ?
