On down time do u turn the box off, put it in suspend, or just let the Google cast wallpaper roll? I got the MI box so am mainly referring to that but feel free to answer on any Android TV device.

Hi, I'm trying to turn off my device, but I can only reboot it (with the power button). The only setting possible is to switch the power button to "resume and pause".

I don't want to let a chinese device 24x7 on, accessing to my LAN, but I don't want to corrupt the Android just plugging it off neither.

I purchased the xbox one tuner for my nexus player and it seems only 9 digital channels were picked up by the live channel app. When I plug the coax into my tv I get about 60 channels and most of those a analog. Ideas?

Hello! Several questions/issues that I've ran in to. I have the Mi Box for my bedroom, and Nvidia Shield in the living room hooked up to HDHomerun.

1. Mi Box CEC issue. The chromecast we had hooked up to the bedroom tv would auto turn on the TV, as well as tune to the correct input when casted to. The Mi Box will not turn the tv on at all. On any of the inputs. Cast to it, press the power button, press the back or home buttons. Nothing triggers it to turn the tv on like the chromecast did. It's an LG TV and the only option for CEC (Simplink) is on or off, and it's set to on.

2. The volume on the Mi Box remote controls volume in every app I've tried, EXCEPT for HDHomerun. I'd like to solely use the mi box remote for volume, so this is an issue when switching between PS Vue app and HDHomerun. Any clue what's causing this?

3. HDHomerun DVR features. Every night since getting the HDHomerun hooked up to the Shield, it's worked great IN THE LIVING ROOM. But when we go to bed, HDHomerun isn't showing DVR features on the Mi box. So I can only watch live TV, no recordings. Same issue if I check on my phone. When I wake up in the morning, it's working like normal and I can pause, watch recordings, etc. Any clue what may be causing this? It's really annoying if we go to bed planning on watching a recording, then find out we can't. I tried troubleshooting the first night, resetting both devices, and it seems like it just randomly comes back. It makes no sense :(

I have a Mi Box that I recently purchased and I want to be on Nougat already. Is Android TV even being worked on anymore? Or is it dead in the water?

I have the Mi box 3 and ever since I set it up I have to unplug and plug it back in after it's sitting to get video back. I have it running through and Onkyo 818 receiver to an Epson HC 3500 projector. Works greats otherwise but after powering everything down when I power the receiver and projector back up again to watch a movie I have only audio and no video. As soon as I unplug and plug the Mi Box back in the video appears. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

I have tried to unlink and relink mynGoogle account on the Mi Box and restart. When I go to the play store on my android tablet or phone the play store still doesn't show my device .

I know we have showbox, and I'm running plex, but are there any apps like showbox or cartoon hd that are formatted for android tv?

So I live in Canada but was in Iowa for work this week and picked up two MiBox's while I was there. Arrived home and I'm trying to set up the first MiBox and it's not going so well. I already own a nexus player and probably have 6 or so other Android devices kicking around the house. So I'm not an expert but I know my way around Android pretty well.

Anyways, the MiBox boots up fine and I'm able to get through the setup ok as well but once I'm into it if I try to go to the play store then it just becomes unresponsive and I have to reboot the device. The remote doesn't do anything, nor does a usb keyboard.

I was able to get Kodi installed but as soon as I launch it I'm done. Can't move left or right in the settings menu at all.

I factory reset the device but just get the same behavior. I'm really worried that I'll be out my $70 because I'm not headed back to the us any time soon, I also have a second mi box unopened now that I don't know what to do with.

Anyone had similar issues?

Recently bought the Mibox.

The audio is leaning way more towards the left from the Mibox.

All of my other devices (Dune Base 3, PS3) do not have this issue. So it's not the receiver.

Any way to reset the audio?

Dumb question (i'm a #n00b) ... I just bought Mi Box from Walmart and I can't download and can't install most the apps I like because it has no browser and no google play ... and when I search for them (in mi box search) 99% of the time I get only YouTube videos or unrelated results ...how to install unlisted android apps? do i have to root? how? ..i tried searching Reddit and no clear answer so-far

Hi all... New owner of a 750D. I came to this forum and found out how to hide the featured apps section, but I can't seem to find out how to select the apps I want shown in the Apps Section. I really just want to show my Netflix, Amazon TV, and HBO GO in one section. Is that possible?

Does anyone have a modified Xfinity TV V3.9 APK that can be sideloaded onto a Sony Bravia X850D. I was previously using the Xfinity TV go app; however, they have retired that app.

Anyone else having issues with the factory remote? I tried changing batteries and the remote still does not control the box. When I first setup the box I had to press the center button and noticed a slight delay then it partially worked then stopped. Also how do you factory reset without remote? I have 2 boxes and its only this one box giving me issues...,thanks reddit

Any way to write onto a USB Flash drive in a way that the data (say a video file) can be played by other devices such as PC's and blu-ray players?

I can't get passed the pairing screen now. I was able to connect my phone's Bluetooth to the Nexus Player but the AndroidTV app doesn't recognize it. I've tried pairing the Amazon remote but no luck either. Anyone run into this problem before?

Answer solved: while at the pairing screen press the button on the bottom of the Nexus Player, press and hold the home button on the Amazon remote, wait for the Player to detect, and viola!

So as the title says, the TV keeps rebooting when I go onto the Home Screen. Won't let me launch any apps without the TV crashing.

Just started today 11/10/16.

I have tried power reset. I can't do a factory reset because the TV crashes before I can get to the option. I updated the firmware recently (like less than 2-3 weeks ago).

It doesn't crash/reboot unless I enter the home screen.

Anybody else experiencing similar issues?

Update 11/11/16: So it turns out that the TV isn't only rebooting when entering the home screen. It reboots even when on a normal hdmi input.
