Is there a way to get Twilight to work on the ShieldTv? It hasn't worked since i updated the shield to Android 8 few months back. I performed a factory reset but it didn't help.

Otherwise is there another blue light filter app that i can sideload to use? I haven't been able to find any others that are compatible with androidTV.

I was wondering if there is a way to side load the current version of Android TV which I think is 8.

I have a 2015 Sony TV which doesn't seem like it will qualify for an over the air upgrade which essentially tells me that I'm screwed with future updates and stuck on this version.

The TV is straight up awful due to Android, it’s very slow and sometimes it doesn’t turn on even after pressing the on button over 20 times. I worry that one day it just won’t turn on anymore and I’ll need to buy another one.

You’d think that for the amount of money you spend you’d get something that gives you a piece of mind.

Currently I have a MiBox 3, but since the Oreo update, it's a total crap. I've tried everything I found on the internet, but nothing changed :( I'm really disappointed, cause I loved this little device. I've been waiting for way to long to Xiaomi to drop a new patch, but I got tired waiting and I've decided to buy a new device.

Whenever I tell Google Assistant on either my phone of Google Home to cast anything to my Bravia Android TV it just says "sorry, something went wrong. Try again later". This has been going on for a few days now - casting from an app without voice works just fine. Have anyone else had this problem?

I purchased a Kogan 4k LED television a few months back (model KALED58ZU9010SKA . It initially would go to into sleep mode when I hit the power button on my remote and turn back on almost instantly, after recent update, I now get a message on the screen when I press remote power button that says the the following:

POWER OFF Your TV will shut down. <Cancel><Ok>

I can't seem to find any options to change this behavior, anyone know any tricks?

Bought two MiBox S's over Christmas for gifts for family. Recently one of them started to have really poor Network performance over WiFi. Bought a USB > Ethernet adapter and it's even worse.

It's strange network has 150mbps download speed. WiFi on Mibox gets about 9mbops and with the Ethernet adapter it only gets 2mbps!

Tried that adapter in other devices and it's fine with 90mbps down. WiFi on almost all devices is also >90mbps

Any suggestions?

I recently bought a Mi Box S and had it connected over Wifi. Cyberghost worked well, but the internet is not as good as expected. So I wanted to connect it over LAN. Internet workes well, downloading apps, Kodi everything is good, except Cyberghost. When I want to start a VPN connection it says that an active internet connection is required to use cyberghost services, but the internet is working.

Any suggestions to fix this problem?

EDIT: I created a OpenVPN-file in Cyberghost and downloaded the OpenVPN client on my Mi Box S. So far it seems to work
