Hello, I'm looking for one of the older software patches for the Philips 50pus7303. I recently updated the android tv software to the current OS and have noticed I can longer change the volume of the headphones I have plugged into my tv with the remote? Any of the older patches should work. Tried getting in touch with Philips but they seem useless.

I just receive update to oreo on my Philis 49pus6412. Update bring new UI and bla bla bla, but it also break ntfs supert and ecfat. That crappy philips player read my hard drive and play movies from it but it's laggy. Kodi report thah file path is wrong, file explorer said hard is empty and exfat drive is broken. I reported this to customer service but thay told me to reinstall my tv..and of course that not fix it.

I just got a great deal on this 4K TV at Target, but I'm disappointed by the HULU app installed on it. I have HULU Live TV, and it works on all my other devices, but not this one.

Anyone get it working, or find a way to force an upgrade to a newer version of the app that's better than the default?

Every time a game goes to commercial in the Fox Sports Go app, it drops out of the stream and back to the app's home screen. Anyone have any thoughts on why / how to fix?

This is on a Sony XBR55X900F.

It just starts lagging and freezing to the point where I can't even get it to restart remotely so I have to go unplug it and plug it back in. It actually works great after that for the rest of the day, but come the next day it usually breaks again. It starts by lagging or playing low res video and having long buffering, then the whole thing freezes.

Anyone else having this kind of issue? Any way to get it to completely shut down instead of sleeping? I guess this is what I get for buying a $40 Android TV Box.

So either I'm crazy or the audio button on the FireTV remote is working and it didn't before. It was previously done by holding the play button and was hit or miss, now it works every time.

Now if only I could get volume buttons to control the TV's volume using IR.

Thinking of rooting my TV and explore the possibilities.. I'd like to record tv programs over my NAS and not a external hard disk. Is it a similar process as rooting an android phone?

Also, how big in terms of storage does a hd tv program use? ie: 720p. Maybe a usb key would do the trick.

Twitch has recently died on my Nexus Player, it crashes as soon as I try lauhching it, tried clearing cache, re-installing but nothing helps, worked fine up until a few days ago, thoughts?

As you know with the newest update they removed the support for ntfs/exfat external HDD's, because of whom apps like vlc, kodi or Archos wouldn't read any files from it.

I wrote to Philips support about this situation, they informed me that the situation is known, and update will be available soon through internet.

They also gave me a link to download this fix, So if you can't wait, just contact them!

I have seen some chromecast devices in hotel rooms have a secure way to let guest stream to their room's TV via a QR code. Anyone knows how this method of authentification is done ?

Just bought my Jetstream 4k box today. TV launcher is better than the old days. However, I can't access my WD Elements 500 GB usb3 drive. I thought it would be added to the front panel automatically. Maybe my expectations are still too much. Anyway, I tried to access the external drive with ESS Explorer and it couldn't see it. The drive activity light lights up for a while then stays steady - just as you suppose it would in normal operation. Clues?

So before my Google Assistant worked beautifully with my Bravia TV, either from one of my speakers or my phone. I was able to use voice commands to turn on/off, cast YouTube & YouTube TV, control volume, etc. Then about a week ago I noticed a issue where now with the exception of turning on/off I am now getting the "Something went wrong" when I try to give a voice command to control the tv. I am still able to cast from my phone but having voice commands was really nice. Browsing the forums it appears others are experiencing this? Is Sony/Google aware? Is there a fix coming?? FWIW still on Android P.

Hello, my parents are using an android box tv from AliExpress. yes it is cheap but it works fine. The problem is you know on computer you can download Ublock Origin to block the ads but on the android firefox and chrome doesnt have that addon right? It is sooooo annoying when i try to navigate on the browser.

Are there any apps available for android at all (regular or android TV) that provide football highlight videos that may be a bit easier to access for her??
