I have a Mi Box, international version, and had the idea of getting a USB hub. I assume this would allow me to utilise two external hard drives at once?

However, you never know so I think it's best to ask here first.

Does anyone have the latest apk for Directv Now for Nvidia Shield?

I have a HDHomeRun duo and trying to find the dvr features of LiveChannels but failing. It finds the HDHomeRun tuner but I don’t see any mention of dvr anywhere.

Currently trying to setup google live channels and move away from the default YouView app.

I have all my digital channels in sources, but every time I go back to the main page it’s black and says

“All source channels are hidden. Select at least one to watch”

So I go to customise channel list, but as soon as I scroll down to tick a channel, it switches back to “Set up your sources” not letting my tick a channel

Any ideas?

I have two "old" TV, each one using a MiBox. These two TV are only used as monitor for the MiBox, they are not connected to anything else anymore as I can do anything I want through the MiBox (watch TV/Replay, Netflix, YouTube, Kodi, etc.).

They are not HDMI CEC compatible so I still need the original remote to turn the TV on and off. In fact it's the only thing I need the TV remote at all and it's a pain.

Is there some kind of power adaptor or power switch that takes in the HDMI signal to get the CEC command on/off to just switch on and off the power to a device through its power socket? Just like you have those kind of power switch controlled by remote or by smartphone to turn on/off lamps or whatever you want, but in this case controlled by the HDMI CEC commands from an AndroidTV box.

When I am casting content From my Phone OnePlus 6t to my Nvidia shield TV where should I have the VPN connected too on the receiving end of the Google cast or on the sending end ?

So my 2015 Nvidia Shield TV's ethernet port no longer can connect at gigabit speeds (tested by directly plugging into my main Switch). In an effort to try and salvage it, I tried to use my USB 3.0 to Gigabit ethernet adapter i got from Amazon, but no dice.

Has anyone successfully done this? Or is that feature disabled because there's an onboard ethernet connector?

How long are you going to keep your android tv connected to the internet after security updates stop rolling out on your android tv set?

I just bought my very first android tv set (bravia af8)- and I suppose I'm going to un-smart my tv in a couple of years and disconnect it from the internet, after the security updates stop coming in, to avoid security risks. It would be a bit shame to lose so much functionality on so expensive tv set though, so I began to rethink if I'm overestimating the security concern or not.

Has anyone had any luck using your USB security key to authorize your device / 2 Factor Authentication?

I am using the Channel Master Stream+ and I have the Google Titan security key, when I follow the steps for authorization (inserting key into USB port), I get to the screen to insert my key. Once I insert the key, it lights up green (does not flash). When I press the button, nothing happens - seems to not recognize the USB key.

Anyone else have any experience setting this up?
