So I recently preordered the Stream+ from Channel Master because I thought that the device filled a big gap in the streaming device market for people who wanted one device for all of their TV viewing needs (for antenna broadcasts and streaming apps). My current setup involves a network tuner and Plex for DVR capabilities, but it's a more complex and expensive route to recommend to my clients.
That said, I just recently started studying the Live Channels app on Android TV and I'm pretty impressed from what I can tell. I know that it can pull broadcast channels from an antenna (with a tuner of course) and that it can also integrate several IPTV channels. Is anyone very familiar when it comes to setting up IPTV/streaming channels on the Live Channels app? Can I integrate channels from a SlingTV/DirecTV Now/PS Vue subscription? I would love for this app to cover most live channel offerings minus Netflix, Amazon, and HBO content.
I can't believe no one makes any cases for this. I bought a fire tv box remote case and cut the holes bigger and zip tied it to keep it snug. Works great. I also have a rechargeable remote that I cutout the bottom for charger and headphone access. I drop mine a lot so this hopefully will absorb the blows and also makes it easier to see. I don't hate the beautiful Nvidia green either.
It's on Amazon $10: Fintie Silicone Case for All-New Fire TV 4K / 2nd Gen Fire TV Stick Voice Remote, Compatible with Amazon Echo / Echo Dot Alexa Voice Remote - Honey Comb Series [Anti Slip] Shockproof Cover, Green-Glow
