I noticed that Amazons Hulu app has been updated while my Mi Box Hulu app hasn't. Any way I can find the APK for the amazon one? I live in the U.S. if that helps at all. Dying for that sub account feature

I have the latest international version of the Mi Box (16ab) and am quiet happy with it so far but today I tested audio output via Bluetooth for the first time and the volume is incredibly low compared to every other device. (Tested on UE Boom 2, BT Headphones and also a HiFi System with BT Receiver)

On everyone of these devices I had to turn the volume to max just to be able to understand normal movie conversations while the audio streaming via phone works perfectly.

Is this normal with the Box or could it be some problem with the Android settings?

My android box can't copy paste in any browser is there any fix for it?

I just update my mi box with the beta release nougat and start appearing some bugs so i wanted to make a hard reset but my remote control stopped working. Cant connect the remote control to the box so the key combo to access recovery menu doesnt work.

Is there any way to hard reset without remote control?

ES is not an option for me. An older, clean APK is doable, but I prefer an up to date file manager. total commander works, but doesn't look that good.

On my phone I use solid explorer. Works like a charm,but no Android TV support...

Are there any other options that support Android TV?

I recently switched from an older Samsung TV with a first gen chromecast to a Sony TV with AndroidTV. In addition, there are various devices in the house with Google Assistant (including a Google Home).

I used to be able to say "Ok Google, play 'name of some series' on Netflix on the TV". Even if the TV was off, it would switch on (HDMI-CEC) and load Netflix on the Chromecast and look for what I asked for. With the new setup this no longer works. First of all, when the TV is off, the built-in cast is off so I need to switch on the TV manually first. Secondly, when the TV is on and I give the command, I get a response "Ok, playing blabla", immediately followed by "I'm sorry, I can't find that device."

Am I missing something obvious here?

Looking around XDA ive seen a couple methods to get remote play working involving root. One confirmed it working on the shield k1, but i havent seen anything for the shield tv (2017). Anyone have this working? If so, care to share a step by step?

I have a Logitech Harmony Elite, currently using the Live Channels app with a HDHomerun Connect / TVirl app for IPTV in the same guide.

I'm wondering if it's possible to use the favourites option through the Live Channels app, or does this only work for "normal TV" through my television.

Right now when I hit the favourite icon for whatever channel it might be it's sending it to the TV (not the shield and nothing is happening.)

I would ideally like to "Change Channels" directly through the Shield and not my television.

Anyone had any luck doing this?

Hi, I'm using the mibox and the the USB port doesn't seem to work. It does light up during booting but after that nothing. Is it due to the last update?

Me and my wife want to get the SNES classic but in case we can't find one I was thinking if just getting an Android TV box and print some emulators on it. Both of my TVs have a Chromecast built in so streaming doesn't really matter to me. Neither do system updates. I just want to play some old games. What's the cheapest Android box I can get?

I recently purchased a LeEco Super4 x55 and I've got no complaints! Today I purchased a sound bar to go with it, but I'm not getting any sound out of it. The soundbar will play music when I pair it with my phone, so that leads me to believe it's on the tv's end. The optical connection I'm using seems to be plugged in properly (red light on, connection secure)... I'm stumped! Is there something in the settings I'm missing? Google has not been very helpful.
