Currently I'm using "Perfect Player" from Google Store, so far it's Perfect but I want to use it with my family and everyone want to create his own playlist (aka favorites channels), is there any Android TV app that can do this?

I want each one in the family to browse all channels and add his favorite channels in his own list so he can play them without going over all the channels.

it's strange for me that nothing in google store can do this simple job.

So My mibox 3 was in the middle of the update and the unit got unplugged by accident. When I plug it in nothing happens I only get a black screen and the remote does nothing. The box has a white indicator light glowing.

My Xiaomi Mi TV box 3 is freezing after some idle time. to activate I have to take off the power cord. How to fix it? Thanks!

I am in need of a new TV. I already have a mi box but it is terrible for DVB playback.

I am looking for a new Android TV OS TV (lol) that will not break the bank, i.e. anywhere between 400-700 euros, if possible.

Google was not a big help because of all the Android boxes showing instead of televisions.

Something between 40-55 inches, I don't care about the resolution, I just need it to not be laggy and be able to playback the OTA DVB TV channels properly.

Do you happen to have anything in mind?

I’m planning buying a Mibox to improve my old 2015 4k smart tv performance and really want to watch 4k60fps on YouTube. Provide that I have a good Internet speed, hdmi 2.0 port on the Tv. Can the Mibox do it, which model (2016 Mibox or Mibox s), can it play 4k60fps without the rj45 adapter?

i tried all the other solutions to connect to the wifi, but it didn't work.

Hi all, I posted a while ago saying that my new x96 mini was behaving terribly, with games lagging and crashing and I was met by people who just kept telling me it isn't a real android tv

I know that, and I also know I don't have R1500 to spend on a Mi Box so I have to work with what I have

And despite having a quad core cpu, a pentacore gpu and 2gb of ram IT STILL SUCKS

And nobody has told me why

Does anyone actually know why these things behave so badly despite their specs

I have sideloaded a couple of android tablet apps onto my android tv and I sometimes like to browse on the tv. At the moment I’m using a mouse to control the cursor but this is less than ideal when kicking back horizontally on the sofa. I end up trying to use my beer gut as a mouse pad and it just gets annoying.

From searching this sub I’ve seen the ‘Mad Katz ctrl’ has mouse function but what does this actually mean? There’s loads of nicer controllers around that don’t look and sound like they’ve been designed by Poochie, surely many of them have ‘mouse function’.

TL:DR, Can any gamepad be used to control a mouse cursor in web browser/ apps designed for tablets?

Hey all-been using Kodi (with Incursion) for about a year now on my Shield. I’ve never had any luck streaming any college football.

Any suggestions on how to find free streaming college football?

I mean seriously. The mods have to do something about this. Every other post is about a Mibox problem.

I know you can move them around 1 by 1... But is there a simple way to sort by alphabetical order or something?

My ISP is blocking Netflix, so I try sideload 1.1.1.1 DNS to my Mi Box 3. With the DNS turned on I can sign in to my Netflix account and choose profile but when playing the contents the loading screen always end at 24% then “we’re having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select different title” appear with error: tvq-pm-100 (3.1.-57).

Does anyone know what happens?

The 1.1.1.1 DNS works perfectly to play netflix on my phone with the same ISP

I just got a MiBox today, and for the most part everything is great. I can stream video and audio from all sources, including Spotify, with the buttons on the remote.

I've also used voice commands to stream from YouTube and Netflix without problems. But, when I try to play a song via voice commands, it will open Spotify, it will play about 1 second and then stop saying there's a connection issue and to try again later. I can literally play the same song via button press with no issues.

I tried searching on here but didn't see anyone else with the same problem.

This happens whether I do voice commands through the remote or my Google home devices.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I have an m8s pro with s912 processor. I tried installing Libreelec via USB, but I had the wrong version now I bricked it. It has a blue LED, but I can't get any display at all via HDMI. I have USB Burning Tool on my pc and can't get the device to hook up. The reset button is not working either.

Is there any way to flash a new firmware on it without being able to access the menus or use the reset button? I have the stock .img file downloaded so just need instructions to apply it. Please!

Can anyone else with a Mi Box test to see if they can play any videos? My FireTV and Shields work but this 3 year old Mi Box doesn't work. Any video I try to play gives the error "there appears to be a playback error". You don't need an account, you can try to play a movie trailer. Thanks.

Last week my mibox 3 auto updated to oreo and since that, the microphone is not working. Is this a genereal issue or just mine? Any advice on what should I do? Thank you

We all saw the announcement that Netflix or Google had fixed whatever was keeping Android TV from playing Netflix when commanded via Assistant (Home, Home Mini, etc). It still didn't work for me for weeks. I even got on customer service via Google One and was told that's just not a feature and Android Police was wrong. Whatever, I still try it from time to time.

Until this last week it finally worked. I have two MiBox 4K's (last year's model, affordable at Walmart), and it started playing Castlevania in my bedroom. Great! Except I was standing by my Home Mini in the living room. I try it on the living room box. "Sorry, that can't be played..."

Both boxes are on the latest update and the app is up to date too. Tried wiping the living room MiBox (Remote Control App finally worked) but nothing. What's the secret sauce, is this server side? Anybody figured it out?

If there are any mecool m8s pro l users here... are u guys able to control it with ur google home ? Am bout to replace it with my Chromecast and i dont wanna loose the voice control functionality

I assumethe ATV remote app is simply bluetooth and the GH/GA problem may be something else. Ironically my MiBox remote stopped responding at the same time, but my backup MiBox remote which is a a chinese IR version works..

Anybody have the problem of trying to pair a Bluetooth headset to the MI Box S? I have the Parrot ZIK 3 headphones and my MI Box S doesn't even find them while they are in pairing mode. My phone sees them and I can connect but the MI Box S just sits at the "searching for accessories" screen. I've restarted several times and even done a factory reset. Any Ideas?
