Hey there!

Sometimes an app freezes and TV becomes totally unresponsive. Holding down HOME button doesn't react, so only option becomes to unplug power cable.

Is there some kind of button combo on remote to kill all running apps on Android TV?

HDR content from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video will not play when I have a USB mic. connected. Video loads to 24% on Netflix, then hangs there indefinitely. Prime video just won't play. Non-hdr streams play fine.

I've tried different USB mics, same issue. Problem immediately goes away when mic is disconnected.

Strange problem that took awhile to realize a mic being connected is the cause. I have no idea how to fix this. Any help is appreciated.

As a iptv customer I've been frustrated with the smarters apk that they keep pushing out as the primary or preferred way to use their services

Prior to stumbling across Live Channels on YouTube I've been very happy using Perfect Player as my primary epg but I love the interface of Live Channels

If I can find a way to categorize Live Channels in the same way Perfect Player does I would be in 7th heaven. The initial config was time consuming but the layout is well worth it

I contacted Xiaomi US through the chat service to ask about any possibility of updates for the Mibox 3. I had really given up on the box itself and just wanted to hear the company's intention. The chat rep wanted to run some tests based on the symptoms which was virtually impossible considering nothing at all was functional. I actually had to take a minute to dig the box out of a drawer and reconnect everything for this process. A few typical customer service questions later and I'm lined up to receive a new box in the mail. My box is over a year old so no warranty applies. If I actually receive a brand new replacement (or even a refurbished unit) at no charge to me, well.....that's nifty. Maybe there's a hardware issue and Xiaomi wants to make good with little fuss. Maybe they have a warehouse full of product and they just want to shake them. Maybe they actually stand behind the product. Who knows. Either way it may be worth while to contact them if your box went belly up. I'm holding out hope. YMMV

The built in chromecast in my tcl android led doesn't work & neither my google home app on my phone can detect it , it is up-to-date & connected to the same wifi as my tv...

Hey, folks. I bought an android TV. Have always wanted one. Happy to have it now. Set it up. Connected my phone. Signed in with my google account. Installed a couple of apps. Everything's great.

However, the TV is in my living room and not limited to just me using it. Most of the times, I won't even be home. And TV will be used by my family members.

Since I've signed in with my main google account on it, is it alright? This account has all my google drive data, contacts, google photos and private emails - *all things meant to be private. *

Using my account to access the play store, install harmless apps and even play games is alright.

Since I'm new to this, I was hoping someone here can tell me if it's okay to stay signed in? Even when I'm not home ? Do I need to be concerned about my privacy.

I never used the Red Bull app because had no idea what it did, but a few days ago I found out that it streams videos of the Austin City Limits 2018 shows, mainly Paul McCartney and Greta van Fleet.

Thing is I can never get it to load, it always shows the logo and then goes to the main android screen of my MiBox.

Any suggestions?
