I Cant find the app on the play store and i cant find any sites to stream it from any help?

Alright, so randomly twitch broke on me. I assume it's just me because no posts are here. Anyone know what's going on?

• First, twitch app logged me out and STOPPED giving a new auth code so I could relog. The field was just empty...

• I deleted app data for the app, and the code start appearing again, letting me log in successfuly.

• but now twitch makes me relog every time I launch the app!

I'm on a Windows Laptop and I have a Sony Bravia TV with integrated Android TV.

I find configuring and controlling (especially typing) on the TV through a remote cumbersome. Is there some way to mirror the TV display to my laptop and control/configure it from there?

Is it only mine? I am using es file explorer but I cannot share files anymore like before

I would like to know if there is anyone on here who can add the ability to add some lines of code to Shield TV stock os so that it would be possible to have more than 2 rows of apps on the home screen. I am thinking it wouldn't be hard as there are developers who make custom firmware for the Shield TV. If you can or know someone who is a developer or coder and can make this happen i am willing to donate. Thank you

Lately, it seems like Plex has more and more issues playing media on my nVidia Shield. Certain movies and tv that play fine on my phone (android), roku, Mi Box, and web browser will not play on my Shield. It's not all media, but it is always the same media. I haven't started to dig into it the commonality, but has anyone else seen this? If I install Kodi with the Plex plugin, the same videos will play just fine. I find it surprising I have so many issues given how closely the plex devs worked with nvidia to get the server working on the shield; I would expect playback to be a breeze.

Update: After using ExportTools to export all of the codec information about all of my media, I was able to narrow down playback issues to any media with EAC3 audio. With that information, I was able to identify a resolution which was to delete the Codecs folder in my plex application path on the plex server itself. Upon restart, all of my EAC3 media is now playing without issue! Thanks for all the suggestions from everyone.

I sold my SATV which had a decent Android gaming library and got a FTV2 Box (i know, it's a big step back). I'm trying to see if it's possible to get some of these games running on my FTV (with appropriate google play store/services, of course).

So is there any way to get each apk from my Play Store library, without currently owning a SATV, to try on my aftv? I'm aware that the aftv doesnt have the horsepower for some of the games, but I'd like to try. Play Store won't let me download anywhere, so i can't extract the apk.

so i tried to update my mi box to the new beta(as i was getting wifi dropout every 30mins) and now my box is stuck in recovery mode, is there anything i can do to fix this? i have tried applying earlier android updates to my box but it just aborts the update half way through and returns to the recovery mode main menu, anything i can do to fix this?

I have access to STAN (Australian streaming service) from NZ and have the app for phone/tablet that I have downloaded from APK sites. But when loading onto my Android TV it isnt a TV version and I cant find a tv version on any APK sites although STAN say there is one. Is anyone in Australia able to grab the APK from their AndroidTV device? Thanks

I've been looking into the state of AndroidTV on x86 as I have a mini PC I would love to throw AndroidTV on. I've created the usb drive and done some reading on XDA. My questions, does most hardware work? What doesn't work? Does anyone have experience in this sub running on normal pc hardware?

So i updated my mi box to oreo after purchase and getting the wifi dropout fairly regular, anything i can do to fix it? Done a factory reset but that didnt help.

I have an NVIDIA Shield and am very happy with it but looking to buy a second Android TV box (probably a mi 2??). A potential deal breaker is the availability of the Amazon Instant Video app. I know this is on the Shield but a google hasn't really answered the question for other android tv boxes.

Can anyone let me know their own experiences please?

After i updated(40 mb update) my mi box it's mic is not detecting my voice at all. Previously it is working fine. Tried reseting the device too. Any solution for this issue?

I have a android remote which is connected to nvidia shield through USB dongle. However it does not have the physical keys for Fn like F8. Is there a way or app to program an existing key on the remote to simulate F8.

There is different recommended watching distance for SD and HD content. My distance 8.8 feet for 65 inch tv is ideal for HD content but wrong for SD content. I thought that solution would be simple - shrink image for SD content (I mean mostly some older things in over the air broadcast). But I found no such setting on my Android tv and it seems that there is currently no solution to this problem. I run Android Nougat and as I have 2018 model of Philips tv, there is a chance that I will get Oreo or even Pie update. Does newer Android allow zooming out picture?

As we all know Android TV is a good idea. Using slow hardware in a TV is not that user friendly. Is there any way and a good alternative to the launcher of Sony. I tested done from play store that works but do not replace the home screen at all. I just want to see some favorite apps instead of advertisement, proposals and store entries.
