Basically I'm having issues getting my XBOX controller and 2017 Shield controller to work together when using GeForce now. So I'm looking for the best solution for controllers that I can use on both Shield TV and PC. I really like the shield controller, but I can't seem to find if it can be used wireless on PC

I saw this come up in another thread from a year ago but no resolution.. so I was hoping someone has figured it out now. When I try to mount a SMB share from my homemade Windows NAS, no matter what username/password I use (administrator, local user, AD user, with or without domain name) it won't mount saying invalid username and password. I am, however, able to mount shares from another OpenELEC box elsewhere in the house. I've verified SMBv1 is enabled on the NAS and made sure everyone has full control of the shares, yet always invalid username or password. Strange thing, every one in ten times I try it, it'll say "connecting..." forever. I check the event viewer on the NAS and there is a constant "login success" then immediately "log out" over and over from the Shield. Any ideas?

I'm not clear in the google cast and its requirement, is it related to android's software or hardware? I searched about the list of devices that support google cast so I can pick up one of them and I start to mirror my phone's screen to the TV. I have found only three: nividia shield tv, mi box and razer? Is there any device that support a google cast ?

I can not restore my progress in the cloud because the game does not show me the login screen. This is frustrating.

Strange that this happens only in Android TV (Mi Box), on my tablet and smartphone does not occur.

I tested with GTA San Andreas and Bully, both have the same problem.

I just got Nvidia shield 16gb and have an external hdd with my movies mov files, can I play the movies through the shield by just connecting to external hdd. I can't find any information or step by step guide to do this.

Please why can't TV volume be controlled from ps4 just like in shield android tv?

My budget is probably $60-130 USD.

Opinions? Thinking about picking one up. Is it worth the $69.99?

Can i schedule DVR using Live Channels app on on LeEco Super X55?

Not sure if this has been posted before or not, but currently I cannot get the GPM app on my new sony bravia tv to work. It just sits on the splash screen forever. Every other google app works. Not sure what to do since ive cleared cache and reinstalled a few times. Plus hard reset the tv a couple times too. Help appreciated.

I am debating between a FireTV and a Mi box. Anyone have any ideas on whats better? I hear there are a lot of problems with the Mi Box using chrome cast. Also I hear the 4k video is awful on it. Is this true? I am not concerned that much about google cast as I doubt I would use it that much at all, but I hear the 4k on it is pretty bad, and that's the main reason why I would get it. I saw it only plays at 30hz in 4k as well, anyone have any complaints about this, or does it look good anyways? What are your experiences with it? Thanks for any help/advice

Does anyone know if android TV works on monitors instead of on a TV? My dad wants to have a Mi Box and hook it up to a monitor.

I have 3 units of an unreleased network tuner device. This is an ATSC device and only supports USA, Canada and Mexico. Outside of these areas, please dont apply.

Testing will involve sideloading Android app we will provide, scanning for local channels with your antenna (not provided), judging picture quality, speed of changing channels and accessability to channels from another generic android device you own which can be Android phone/tablet or another Android box.

Here are the qualifications to apply for FREE beta test unit:

1---Must be using antenna for OTA broadcasts. Must be receiving at least 4 of the major broadcast networks at your location, for example.... NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, ION, local PBS channels. Please supply your specific TVFOOL.COM report in your response

2--Must have another type of android device in addition to MiBox. This can be an android phone, tablet, tvbox or projector that you can run android app that allows viewing of channels that originate on the tuner app running on your MiBox. You will be connecting to tuner via wifi and you must be on same wifi network.

3--Must be willing to actively participate in private Reddit forum to share your experiences.

4--Priority will be given to owners of Android capable projectors

Hello everyone! I currently have a Minix X8-H Plus, but it looks like it won't be getting an Android 5.1 Lollipop update very soon and I think it's time for me to get a new TV box.

My budget is around $70 at the most. What would you recommend? I'd like a android tv device to last me at least 2 years or have updates through Android to be a little long-lasting.

A couple of days ago I had a power outage at home and when I switched on the Mi box the remote wasn't working. I tried repairing it but couldn't find a way. I went to settings and pressed the add devices mode and tried pressing back and home at the same time but I couldn't pair the remote again. Tried changing batteriess as well. Nothing is working and it's a pain in the ass because I have to disconnect it from the power every time I switch it off to turn it back on and it takes ages for my IPTV app to load.

Can someone please help?
