Hey guys
I have the KD-X8005CBU, which doesn't have a microphone built in.
I found it really frustrating that the default search on Android TV is voice search, even if no mic is detected. It isn't always convenient to get my phone out to do a voice search, and I really didn't want to spend £50 on Sony's Touch Remote thing.
So here is my solution:

I plugged this £2.50 USB condenser mic into a USB port, rebooted the TV (that's an important step) and it works great. It picks up almost everything I say from about 2.5m away from the TV.
Hope that's useful for someone! For such a low price it seems like a no-brainer.

Can anyone download the APK for this app and extract it for me? I've tried all using the various extensions/websites for downloading apps from the play store, but none of them seem to work.

"The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has used the Google I / O 2016 conference in Mountain View, California to unveil its new Android TV Box console Mi, including a compatible device with 4K resolution and HDR technology. Good news for those hoping to get their hands on the console, the company is already in talks with retailers to offer Canada.
No agreement could, however, was signed at the moment, according to what he confirmed a company representative. Mi Box, which will be the first unit of Xiaomi launched in the United States, would mark the arrival of the Chinese company in Canada also."
