I'm trying to stream NFL RedZone from my phone, to my Android TV. I have a Verizon iPhone and Android that both have the NFL Network and RedZone.

I have Kodi installed on my Android TV, and AirPlay turned on, but nothing happens when I connect to it with the iPhone. It looks like that AirPlay feature isn't working as it won't play any music from the Music app either.

The Android device is a S5 and within the NFL Mobile app, it doesn't show the "Cast" icon.

Has anyone been able to successfully stream NFL RedZone from their phone, to their Android TV?

Hey folks I've got a question for the community.

A lot of android boxes now obviously run lollipop and beyond, and the Google search bar/voice search + OK Google can work throughout the OS.

Whatever box I end up getting (be it shield, NP or NP2 (if there is one)), id likely be controlling it with my phone primarily. (Because at the moment I'm thinking full android would be my choice).

So, what I'm trying to achieve... is be able to speak into my phone 'OK Google' and remotely trigger the voice search on the remote android box, and then continue by speaking my search query into the phone. Do you think this is achievable?

Because if I end up going with full android, I might not be using the NP or Shield remote controls.

It just occurred to me, with Nvidia shield being only available in the states at the moment... if someone I the UK imported one and tried to play games from Nvidias's Grid... would that even work?

I'm not sure I would have a need to record live tv, but would quite like to be able to watch it all the same. (Thinking of buying the 16gb model)

I live in canada and i'm having an eye at the shield TV but buying it from amazon brings the price to 319$ after taxes/conversion and shipping, which is a bit high.

The main reason I want to switch is for the headjack on the controller and the hevc codec.

I currently use a bluetooth transmitter and a bluetooth headset to watch Movies/Shows on my cuboxi-4pro but the latency is killing me. I have to adjust it to 200ms every time in kodi, which makes it painful for nothing. How is the latency on the Controller and How is the sound quality?.

I don't want to pay 300$+ just to have the same "issue" with latency.

Also have kodi running on the shield, on my cuboxi-4pro. I would say it's ok but not stellar with some more demanding plugins

I have a 4k tv box ( beelink i68) with a 4k TV and a 4k cable, but in the android display settings I cannot change to 4k.

(I'm living in Canada btw) Hey everyone, I have netflix but I want all the newer movies and even some older ones that netflix does NOT carry. I have the showbox app on my phone which is amazing but I want something to be on my TV instead of having to watch everything on my 6 inch screen :(.

I've heard chrome cast is really good for this if you want to stream from phone to the TVBut I also have heard about android box…I have no idea about it at all I’ve just heard it’s really good and has like everything and even some live TV !! I’m just not too sure which android box I should be getting? I don’t want mine to be slow and laggy but I also don’t wanna go spend like 600$ on one -.- … anyone got any ideas which one to buy and from where..preferably best buy or walmart??

Amazon recently updated their app and now it works on my Nexus 9, unlike before when it was called Amazon Instant Video and the app wasn't compatible with Nexus 9s running Lollipop.

And I'm not talking about the Google Play version of Amazon Video. I'm taking about the Amazon Video app found on Amazon Underground.

If so, how's the UI and functionality?

I have WebDAV server installed on my Matricom boxes so I can easily move / edit files but Shield TV does not like the WebDAV server. What the easiest way to move / edit files via LAN on the Shield TV? I'm tired of moving USB drives back and forth. Thanks

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but my shield pro is very slow at times and many of my play store games crash. I questioned this to nvidias customer service in a chat recently and was asked if i recently installed anything new and was told to resync my controller for better performance. nothing has changed on my end and i hardly have anything installed. does anyone else have this problem or know if their are any known issues that would cause the system to slow down?

What is the recommended emulator for the nexus player. Will it allow for native input with the nexus game pad?

If I install nova will Android TV handle it like Android does and ask me which one I want to use until I choose one as a default?
