Is it a requirement to have the attachment USB to get emulators running on the ONN box? I've tried to download them directly after getting Retroarch on the box, but I can't find any programs to unzip the files, and can't access any emails to receive them either.

Smartphone without gapps, android TV without gapps. How to cast, possibly foss?

There are no brightness settings in the Display menu for some reason. Downloaded all the updates, that does not seem to be the issue. A bit irritating to watch because of the high contrast. Could it dtem from the TV itself? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm not really knowledgeable when it comes to TVs. Every bit of help is appreciated. Cheers!

I tried everything, I turned on the hdmi-cec and the one key power off

I also turned on the HDMI-CEC on the TV itself (samsung 2021)

I tried all kinds of options from the Devolopers,

I've tried turning off and on every possible feature, just doesn't work.

What happens in the end is that I press the off button on the remote of the mi box, it turns off but the TV stays on, and even when the TV is off and I try to turn it on, nothing happens.

Has anyone encountered such a phenomenon and managed to fix something? Even with an app or APK?

Merry Christmas everyone I am trying to help my parents to sign in to their Google account on their Phillips Smart TV. The problem is that when I sign in it says that the password is incorrect. I have tried with multiple accounts but nothing helps. I even get the email that my account got added to a new device but still it says incorrect password.I have also tried to factory restore the tv. Does anyone have any Idea on how to solve this problem?

I have checked the HDMI CEC settings, which is called Easylink on a Philips. I have turned the function off but it’s still happening. I have also tried updating the software and using new HDMI cables.

Anyone know if this is a known issue? I have googled and found several people online with the same issue, but none seem to get it to work.

PS, the turning on usually happens at night, sometimes it takes 3 hours, sometimes 6, sometimes it happens instantly when you turn it off. And other times it just stays off. So the problem is intermittent.

Anyone know which codec version will work with a MX Player Pro on a CCwGTV? I've downloaded 5 different versions and none of them appear in the download folder when I try to add a custom codec in MX Player Pro

Hey, I am considering buying either the Nokia Streaming Box 8010 or the Formuler z11 Pro Max 4k.

The Formuler is not certified, but the support here is very good and updates are provided regularly. Does anyone have experience with the Nokia Streaming Boxes regarding updates?

I'm planning to do Game Streaming like xcloud and GeForce Now but my current tcl tv doesn't have support for dual band frequency wifi and doesn't detect 5Ghz. and the Ethernet port is limited to 100mbps speeds. I've tried using an Ethernet adapter to usb and the speeds are worse than just direct Ethernet connection.

Hey! I currently have a Nvidia shield pro, I really enjoy the voice and upscaling features! But I was wondering if there was a better device I could be using for streaming.

In the iPhone for example once you have connected a Bluetooth device you can tap on it and if the device is available you can connect.

Can you do that with an android tv? I already paired my headphones and they were on but not connected. When I went to click on them under remotes and accessories it gave the only the option to remove them or rename them but no option to connect.

Let me know if you aren’t sure what I mean.

Every day I have to fight the remote because it kept on forgetting the TV control functionally and it takes me several tries to get it back and then I have to do it again. Is there is a way to fix this?

How can I upgrade my mi box s with custom rims, and how can I play blu rays on androids tv?

So I have recently purchased this tv and at first was using Wi-Fi and although it would work easily the tv would lose internet access frequently. Whenever this happened I would go ahead and turn off the Wi-Fi from settings and switch it back on and it would work fine after. I figured Ethernet was the way to go and have it connected now but the issues persist every time I power my unit. I then have to go through the process of unplugging the Ethernet cord and plugging in again for it to work correctly. I hope that google will get the data from the issues of the tv and hopefully bug fix but aside from that the tv is perfect in every way aside from YouTube bugs. Anybody have the same problems and have a resolution?

First time having an Android TV (Philips PUS8057) and figuring out how it works especially with my two iPhones and two MacBooks.

Silly of me, not checking first if the TV had Airplay or not, I know.
But for the people who have an Android TV and multiple Apple products, what's your way around it? Which apps do you use?

Ideally, I would like an app just on the TV instead of on all devices. I don't mind paying a one time fee for the app as long it's not a subscription. I highly appreciate a simple and clean UI and without too many advanced (in my case, useless) options.
