I recently purchased a Sony XBR65X900E and I really enjoy it, except for one thing: Netflix doesn't work properly. More specifically Netflix exclusives will not load. For the first few weeks it was working fine, then all of a sudden I couldn't watch what I wanted to. I can still watch non-netflix shows just fine, but the exclusives won't load. I've tried factory resetting, uninstalling Netflix and reinstalling it. I hoped the recent update to Oreo might fix it, but I'm still experiencing the same issue. When I select a Netflix exclusive, it'll start to "load" and start counting up, stop at 20%, then jump to 99% after a minute or so, then just stay stuck there. Netflix works fine on all my other devices (PS4, Android phone and tablet).

I haven't been able to find any help from Google

Hey guys, i'm planning to buy a xiaomi box S to watch MKV Files with DTS Audio from HDD.

But just from a simple google search there's tons of problems of xiaomi box being unable to read NTFS/Exfat HDD's after Oreo OS update and Xiaomi Box S ships with Oreo Update

Should i be concerned? or does this only affect the old models and not the 2018 Models?

also i don't have a receiver/soundbar, i'll be plugging it to my TV using TV Speakers as Audio, would any sound come out if i play a file with DTS/DD Audio? or would the audio be silent?, i'm not looking for great sound quality, i just want the file to play with audio coming out.

I can't seem to figure it out. I did a Google search and nothing seems to come up. Thanks for your help in advance!

Is there any media box that will have compatibility with both HDR formats (Dolby Vision and HDR10+) alongside TrueHD Atmos passthrough?

I am thinking of finally making the switch towards a new TV and was researching if there is any universal media box. Panasonic announced a TV with both formats of HDR and accompanied by an Atmos AVR, I could get both sound and video at the best quality. The only issue is that the Panasonic will most likely not have eARC so I need a central media box to send to the receiver first and then to the TV.

Just updating my philips 65PUS7803 android 8.0 Oreo update. I have Audio Pro addon six external speakers connected with 3.5mm plugin to my tv. After that update, volume control not work tv:s remote control anymore. I have been schoose ”close tv:s speaker” option and use external source. But now if i raise up volume tv:s remote only tvs own speaker raise up and external speakers not respond at all.

Before that oreo update i don have that problem.

Any ideas how to fix this, or is this just o bug.

Is there a way to stream my Spotify music to Chromecast Audio, but control it via Android TV? When I open the Spotify TV app there is no way to control the music that is playing in my network, even though on all my other devices (tablets, phones) I instantly get a pop-up with the question if I want to continue playing on Chromecast or play locally

Got an Nvidia shield a few days back and enjoying it well enough so far. I've also got a Google home mini and the remote Shield has Google Assistant built in.

I've ran into a couple problems with the voice commands so far;

1. I said 'Play Angry Birds Movie'. Google responds with 'This is available on X,y, z etc'. So I responded by saying 'Amazon Video'. Assistant then tries to play an Amazon Video on YouTube and fails. Tried again and just answered 'Amazon' so then the Assistant starts reading out my recent Amazon orders.

Any way to get this to work? 'Amazon Video' was one of the sources the Assistant suggested.

2. Saying "Google play Spiderman" gets the response "Ok, playing Spiderman Homecoming on Netflix" which is cool. Except Spiderman Homecoming isn't on Netflix in the UK, and I just get taken to a blank page. Can I make Assistant only check UK lists?

I have Android TV 7.1.2 installed on a rock64 and have a keyboard/trackpad combo connected to it. I can navigate around the main screen with the arrow keys but when I hit enter to select an item the item under the mouse is the item that gets selected. This pretty much makes keyboard navigation impossible.

Does anyone know of a way to disable the mouse so I can navigate around the device only using the keyboard? Thanks.

Edit: Also when I am using Kodi I am able to disable mouse navigation, but if I hit the enter button the mouse appears on the screen which is kind of annoying.

I'm well aware that I bought a cheaper TV. It's a Sharp/Hisense LC-75Q7570U, for some reason it has been reverting to default HDMI input names and the majority of remote buttons don't function correctly. Even in my phone app, the functions don't do what they're intended. Does anyone know a way to correct this? Even if it's just a way to make the remote function right, any help would be greatly helpful.

I'm sure many posts have already been made about this. I'm on the latest 2396 build and haven't had much issues other than the white pixel on the top left corner and the box not waking up after not being used fora while. My connection drops even if I set it to static. Sometimes it lasts a bit and then drops and then I got to turn WiFi off and back on but it's become increasingly annoying lately. Is there more updates coming for this or is the focus all on the newer Mi Box S? Can't return to Walmart since it's been over a year since I bought it.
