Looks good & is quite functional compared to most recent versions.

Still needs a bit of tweaking IMO but a welcomed upgrade nonetheless.

I use the Android Tv Remote Control and Kore but it would be nice to have one that copies and pasts text in both.

Earlier today my Nvidia Shield suddenly just switched off.

It was on the home screen menu. No update had been going on and I wasn't using it to watch anything at that time. I had stepped outside to do something and when I came back in the unit was off.

I tried unplugging the power supply and waited for a while to plug it back in. But that didn't help. The device just will not respond.

I've had this since September 2016, and up today has worked great. Any ideas as to what I can try? Maybe seek out a new power supply?

I keep the CBS News Live app on my living room TV. Don’t know why, but I do use it for background noise sometimes.

Today being one of those days.

Today I noticed that one of the two available streams was the CBS Sports HQ Live feed.

I do like sports news. I’m way over Sports Center. Sports HQ is descent stuff to watch. They spend more time on sports news than they do sports news personalities. I like that.

This also gives hope that maybe they’ll update their CBS Sports TV app and add this in.

I just factory reset my Sony x900e. It is currently stuck on a black screen, or grey graphic background, with a popup stating that Quick Setup isn't responding.

Anyone know how to fix this? I have tried leaving it, closing the app, and restarting the tv, all with no luck.

I own a Philips Android TV that's 4k, but the Youtube app (up to date) won't show any options for 4k when I select the resolution menu in a video. Any ideas why, apart from the TV is wank?

I currently have a FireTV 2nd Gen that i utilize for Kodi streaming and YouTube. My FireTV is hooked up via Ethernet which outputs 1gb Fiber speed, though i believe the FireTV port can't utilize those speeds. I was wondering if it is worth the costly upgrade to Nvidia Shield?

• Is it noticeably smoother than the FireTV?

• Will my internet speed be able to reach max speeds streaming (with Real Debrid), or do most sites cap off streams?

• How is streaming games from an Nvidia card device to the shield utilizing 3rd party software "Moonlight", is it smooth?

• Does the Xbox One S controller connect to the Shield. If yes will most games display Xbox buttons when playing, like when you are on a computer?

• Are there any features you utilize a lot that isn't really talked about?

• Can the FireTV 2nd gen remote sync with the shield? If so do all the buttons map correctly to the shield (Voice?). If it does not, which remote do you find works the best for most shield functions.

Recently I purchased mibox 4k from the EU distribution. DRM Info says, that I have 2.2 HDCP connection (TV is VIZIO D65u) but series and 4k content won't play- Test Patterns go up to FHD 5800kbps and they stay at this value. Youtube plays 4k. Will try to do a factory reset, as I deleted and reinstalled Netflix app after mibox installation. Any ideas what is wrong?

Seems to me that the three big projects that are still Android * are the ones that seem to also have the least amount of support from the big G.

Everytime I ask Google Assistant for NBA scores it usually shows me 1 game, sometimes 2. I'd like to see every game for that day. Is this not a thing? Should I say a specific command?

I have recently purchased Mibox 3. I keep getting message "Unfortunately, YouTube has stopped" even in cases when I didn't open the app as well as it stops playing in the background like any other video service, obviously, . I have noticed this when I update the app as the previous version is working well. I have tried a factory reset several times as well as clearing cache and data. Any suggestion to fix this issue? Could it be a hardware issue?

I'm using a 3rd party remote and have the controller sitting nearby. When I click on a search, I'd like the controller to turn on without handling it. Anyway to accomplish this?

Ive been using a Nexus Player for quite a while and its starting to cause more issues then its worth so im looking for a replacement box to use and am hoping for some suggestions here.

We mostly use Kodi on it but also occasionally use Plex and Netflix. What is my best bet for a box to replace my nexus player with these days?

I get you can chromecast and that's fine but there really is no reason as the fire TV app can be sideloaded. It's literally a couple lines of code. Also, the Apple TV version has a 3 game at once feature which is frustrating when you have a Nvidia shield that could easily handle that. Watchespn app also has a 2 games at once but the ATV version doesn't. ATV is a great platform but it's frustrating at times when developers don't help us out

I bought a Mi Box 3S, and replaced the Chinese ROM with a English ROM. Everything works fine, except for SPDIF. With my previous player this worked just great, but the Mi Box just does not work. The settings are ok. In AndroidTV the digital sound is set to SPDIF (when set to automatically it selects PCM), and in Kodi passthrough is enabled. But nothing works ...

Btw: I bought a small spdif-to-jack-convertor I put on my old optical cable (that worked with my previous player).

What can be wrong? Can it be the convertor?

Just downloaded both Chrome and Firefox for my Mi Box to try it out. First thing I want to do is to be able to do a full-screen without showing anything of the browser. I cannot find any settings for this?

Next thing I noticed is that I went to a site I own which is made specifically for a 1080p device. But when I visited this site it did not display it correctly, it was displayed as the resolution was 720p. I checked my settings, and they are set to 1080p.

Is there a limit set to both Firefox and Chrome that is 720p?
