Did an update yesterday that none of the other similar/ identical Philips TVs in the house didn't get and cannot find, the TV froze on an all green screen for 2 hours mid update and I had to switch it off at the wall to fix it, when it powered back on the update finished and it worked fine, after around 3 or 4 hours the screen started to randomly turn off and back on again at various intervals, worried this was an overheating issue I left the TV unplugged overnight and would try again this morning. Today all that has happened has been shorter and shorter intervals between restarting and now won't even get to displaying a picture, stuck cycling between the Philips Logo and the android loading screen. Anyone know any solutions? Currently trying to load a USB with an older version of android TV to hopefully boot from

I bought a new Denon X3300W and everything with 4K output and HD audio works great coming from my Shield, but as I am scrolling through apps the system sounds aren't normal. The sounds fluctuate if you move from one icon to the next quickly. Its only a small annoyance but if anyone knows how to fix this please comment. I have tried with all 3 surround settings and for now I have left it to ALWAYS since the receiver can handle all types.

I don't think I could have had a worst experience. All my apps/video start jittering and lagging when I change the volume during playback . It gets really bad . Casting also is very hit or miss . I cast Telemundo Deportes a lot for soccer and at random the picture will freeze and start playing in a PiP type mode . It's really odd . Casting videos from websites is also very hit or miss . I'm pretty sure it's the Sony as I don't have any issues with my chrome cast but the chromecast can't do 4K . I've tried resetting it too because I've had random software issues with ATV, such as repeated apps .

I bought a Sony Android TV last year and was excited to trim down my gadget count since it has a built-in Chromecast. Today I went back to using an actual Chromecast plugged into the TV because the built-in one is rubbish.

It constantly crashes (and then can't be found on the network again), you can't use your own photos as backdrop, the TV will exit the cast app when switch the picture off in the action menu, and there's no support for Chromecast audio.

Does anyone know why the built-in Chromecast is so bad on Android TV?

Anyone else having an issue with the Android TV remote app not connecting to their device? My Nexus player has been having difficulty for about 3 weeks now. It can see the Nexus player and tries to connect only to fail within about 2 seconds. Resetting the phone app and rebooting both devices doesn't fix this. Same issue on the iOS app as well. To add insult to injury I lost the remote around the same time and the HDMI CEC from the TV remote is very wonky. If I can't fix this then I will probably give up on the device and move to my fire stick full time.

Edit: Finally had time to do a factory reset. The Nexus player is running great and all issues seem to be resolved.

Please forgive me if this isn't supposed to go here. This seems to be where the largest gathering of LeEco TV owners are. I just picked up one today and was wondering what settings you all did to achieve the best picture?

So after upgrading to nougat, I accidentally hit the "." command on my harmony remote. This caused a icon that looks like a speaker inside a circle to appear on the top and middle of the screen. When i hit this command twice, the circle decreased to 3/4 full and the volume decreased.

Now I can't find a way to increase it again on my harmony or the original mi box remote. The volume keys on the mi box remote adjust a totally different volume that had a long bar on the top of the screen. This one is at max volume but the other unknown one I can't adjust back to max. Now sound on my tv is low and I have to increase tv volume a lot to get same level.

Anyone know what I can do?

Hi guys. So I had my harmony 650 working fine with my mi box. Then yesterday I upgraded to the nougat beta.

Now today, I run a new install of Kodi on the Mi Box and the Exit and Home keys are not being recognized from my remote. This means I cant do basic navigation in Kodi and it becomes unusable. The exit and home keys work fine inside of Android TV and other apps like YouTube, but not in Kodi 17.3 from the Play Store. This was the exact version I had before upgrading to nougat.

Not really sure what the cause is. Anyone else running Nougat on there Mi Box and have there harmony remote work fine with Kodi?

With the LeEcos going on sale (still a lot at my local Walmart) I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the HDHR prime with it. I am particularly​ interested in sports playback. The shield plays everything flawlessly but if I can pick up a 55"TV with Androidtv built in for $350 and it plays smooth (unlike the mibox and Nexus player) I figure it is a no-brainer for a secondary TV. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have a mi box and kodi does not work well with the internet connection I have at home. Plus the navigation to the app to find matches is pretty frustrating. I got the device for my dad. Is there an app with a paid service to stream sports - football, golf, cricket, tennis and rugby.

I've been running the beta that leaked in April but it seems the system is no longer checking for updates (last check was May 28th, even after pressing check for updates).

Does anyone have a working Funimation app? I've tried side loading the apk from the PlayStore and it loads up to the login section, however it quits out every time I try to log into it. I'm using a Shield TV for reference. Also, I know I can technically cast it to the TV but it would be nice to use the controller to watch things instead.

Is this possible? If it is, does any one know how to set it up? We have a Mi Box in the bedroom and I was wondering if there is a way to send audio from my Mi Box to my Android phone via Bluetooth (or another method?) while my wife is still sleeping so my lazy ass doesn't have to get up and go to the living room first thing in the morning.

I may just grab some Bluetooth headphones for this if necessary.

So while my family and I's vacation plans haven't yet fully materialised, we are eyeing Kuala Lumpur, because we LOVE technology and KL has Low Yat plaza and Digital Mall. So i really wanted a new Android TV box, not those fake chinese ones though. I am eyeing the Mi box but have heard getting scammed with the wrong chinese model. Any suggestions for a good decent android tv box under $150? And where to buy it from. And also - can I buy the Mi Box from any malls in Kuala Lumpur then?
