Is it worth it to buy this device right now or is there anything else on the horizon?

So been wanting to look at some 360 videos, however my h to my frustration i can't get them to work? It's just a flat bloody image! Any news on when they're going to be supported?

I'm looking to get an Android TV Box from Amazon, which processor would be best to get (Amlogic s812, s905, or rockchip rk3368)? I'm looking at boxes that have 2gb of RAM & 16gb storage, which processor would pair best with that? I'll use the box mainly for streaming live HD TV channels, HD shows and live HD sports via sopcast, acestream or whatever provides high quality live sports. Also some apps like Spotify, YouTube etc. (Specifically i saw a Tronsmart MX3 with 2gb RAM and 16gb storage, Android 15.1, amlogic s812. Is that a good choice?)

I really respect the operating systems a lot but the hardware rules too. I don't know what to choose LG for the quality of the pic (from what I have heard) but the weak web os or Toshiba 40L5550E which is the only available android TV in the store ?! I bought GTA San Andreas while it was on sale, I did it on the play store website at work and selected my shield to install it on and figured I'd play the next day or whatever

I just went and looked, and as far as I can tell it's not on my device. It's not on the launcher, It's not on my list of installed apps. The play store website says it's installed. I don't have the slightest idea what to do from here. Any suggestions?

I have a strange issue and am looking for some help or anyone who has also dealt with it. Starting a few weeks ago My hulu app started randomly pausing. Hitting play continues the content. Starting a few days this has started happening in the Kodi app as well. The remote is not being touched when this happens.

I cant really figure out what would be causing this. Anyone else dealt with this?

I've just downloaded Moonlight from the play store on my tv. The issue im having is the lag of about 30ms that makes playing darksouls basically impossible.

When I exit out of the app on the tv, I get a message saying my ping is like 30ms and hardware decoder 27ms. I'm not exactly sure what this means but I think the actual connection between my pc and tv is 3ms, and 27ms added through the hardware decoder (i dont know what that is).

Changing the quality setting on moonlight doesnt really do anything. 720p30fps is almost same as 1080p60fps. Is the issue with the tv decoder?

I have a dual band router in my room. Both my pc and tv are connected on the wireless 2.4 band. I would normally have my pc connected with a cable but I had to use the last cable to connect the router to the modem.

I've been looking all over for an offloaded APK of the Playstation Now Android TV app, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm aware it comes on Sony Smart TVs, but I can't afford to go buy a new TV for a single app. If someone here knows where I could find it, or is willing to offload it, I would very much so appreciate it. I have an NVIDIA Shield TV which is connected to a PC in a separate room holding all my media. I currently use my Nexus 6P to remotely turn it on and off but would love to be able to do this from my TV remote.

Can I do this from within Kodi? Or anything means?

Anyone had any recent issues with music randomly stopping? Happens in Pandora and Play Music. App doesn't crash - music just stops.

On my old tv I used my thunder port to hdmi and connected it as a monitor. But with this new tv my mac is not recognizing the tv.

A lot of times the extension can't find my TV. Is there a way to restart the built inn chrome cast? Or any other trick. This happens a lot. I am on a MacBook, but that should not matter.

I really like Archos for fetching data and creating a media library from my external hard drive (the UI looks just like a google one).

But it's currently broken on The Shield. (Doesn't allow media to be added from harddrive to library)

What's the best alternative? (Not a player, but an app that creates a library via Hard drive)

I have an Nvidia Shield TV in my living room.

I would love to be able to use a camera like the logitech usb camera directly with the nvidia shield and sideload the hangouts app - even if I had to use the mouse to control the hangouts app it would be cool to be able to do video chats on my couch like that.

Has anyone tried this? Just want to know before I invest the money and time.

I'll be taking delivery of my shieldtv in the next week and would love to hear your suggestion on what multiplayer games to get. Local multi-controller party games only. Things like atomic bomberman or worms...
