(sorry for my English)
Since I was not streaming anything, I did not take any chance, but now I have to subscribe to a very legal streaming service, so I will have to re-able my internet connection on my TV and I am afraid that any OS update will block Kodi.
Can someone give me some info, please?
Hi all -- Have any of you compared Android TV to Vizio's SmartCast OS? I'm curious to know your impressions.
SmartCast is evidently based on Linux (no surprise there), and the TVs have Chromecast built-in, so you might say it has some of the same lineage as Android TV.
I'm looking at Android TV on the Sony X950G vs. a Vizio P-Series with SmartCast. I decided to cross TCL off my list, even though Roku is pretty good from what I hear. The TCLs have severe vertical banding issues in some percentage of the TVs, and their picture isn't as good as the Sony Android TV. Anyway, I'm curious for any impressions you have on Android TV vs. SmartCast. I assume that Android TV gets more apps, and they're update more...
Sideload the Hulu app and use Android tv app launcher to make a icon for it. . Still difficult to naviage but it works much better! You have to use mouse movement to get some parts working though
