I have an nvidia shield.  Last night I tried to watch Playstation Vue and it complained that there was an update available, I went to the store and there was no update. This left me unable to use it.  I cleared the data and uninstalled the app.  I then tried to reinstall the app and it wasn't in the play store anymore.  I went to web version on my desktop play.google.com and can see it and I hit install, but the shield is now not a valid device, nor is any of my other android devices.  Thoughts?

Whenever I try to turn on my mi box with the remote, nothing happens. I always have to turn it on by unplugging the power cable and plugging it in again. Does anyone have any fixes?

Has worked fine with my phone and tablet. When I try on TV, it asks me to input 6 numbers then hit enter on the keyboard to pair but then it fails.

I have some 4k videos (gopro video) in WD MyCloud, as well as in my PC

Whenever I stream to my android tv 4k files (using KODI or Plex) it is laggy and not loading well, supper slow

even though im using high speed Ethernet (1000M ) and my android box supports that as well

If i copy files through the network is reaches 100 mb/sec so im sure the network is working well

bu im struggliong with the 4k streaming and the andorid box

anyone is having the same issue ? any suggestions ?

I am having issues with my MiBox 3 after a forced Oreo update. Items casted or the Spectrum SportsNet app render in terrible, unwatchable resolutions with odd colors and/or vertical lines. I have messed with RGB/YU etc...to no avail. My X55 LeEco TV within built in Android TV (Marshmallow?) and my S8+ do not have issues. My TV is an LG OLED 65C7. I'm royally pissed that the forced update botched my set up and now the unit is out of the return policy time frame. Any suggestions?

I bought and set up for her a ug007, which still works but is quite outdated.

Looking for any device with at least 1 USB A to connect a remote or keyboard. HDMI Sort of decent support by manufacturer or xda community ( updates) Google market And must work with TeamViewer to be controlled remotely (to remotely maintain it, can't remote into the ug007)

Optional but great if it has a microsd slot and WiFi 5ghz.

Does anyone know how to reset the mi box without using the remote. Mine's stuck on the loading screen but using the remote doesn't work. I had problems with the remote unpairing before the update. Any other options?

Can I connect my ps4 and Xbox one controllers at the same time? I’m on Android tv through the mecool box. I’ve tried and I can connect the Xbox controller but not the ps4. It detects the device but fails to pair

i was about to buy a mecool L (widevine1) till i see no google

i want a box with DRM that actually supports HD-4K content,

I was planning to get the m8s pro l...a chinese box running Android tv OS... but then xaiomi dropped the mi box s. Now there are many reasons why i considered m8s pro l....it has more ram than the mi box,a better cpu and better I/O....the only downsides it has are tht it's running Android 7.1 ,the Chromecast function does not work, Netflix is upto 1080p(honestly i dont care bout having 4K) , and HDR wont work on Netflix The reason i am hesitant to buy the new mi box is due to the same old spec like da hell xaiomi was thinking that 2gigs of ram is nuff in 2018 with the old cpu...and the reason i was considering it was because of Chromecast feature and official google support....but am confused...and dont know what to buy

I run A/V for a community center, and I'm trying to find the easiest solution for A/V playback in a shared space for video/dvd/audio. Android TV comes to mind. I don't actually use one myself at home as my TV is smart-ish enough, but I figure it might be the simplest interface for public consumption. I know DVD won't go through, but what about the rest? Thoughts?

My MI box on any program I use tends to blow off the screen of my TV. I've been able to go in and tell it to scale it down by 90%, which gets the main screen fine, but when you go into Kodi (or other programs), that doesn't stick and things are sitting off the sides of the screen. Does anyone have a fix/solution to that ?
