I installed the Mi Nougat beta 7.0 from here https://beebom.com/how-update-mi-box-android-nougat/ And since then I have been having problems with my audio. Sometimes when I shut off the box (sleep mode) and start it I get no audio at all. If I change some settings in my TV audio settings I get it to work. This never happened before so it isn't a problem with the TV. I think the CEC settings might have something to do with it, or the audio settings, but I have tried every combination and it still happens.
Not that it matters (as it worked on 6.0) but this is how everything is hooked up. HDMI from Mi Box to TV, Coaxial cable from TV to digital to analog converter and then to an amplifier and stereo speakers.
Please help me out if anyone has some suggestions.
Thank you!

PS. I saw the link on XDA here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-stick--console-computers/amlogic/xiaomi-mdz-16-ab-nougat-beta-build-1035-t3677769
Working: HDR on Netflix app, HDMI CEC
Not Working: Youtube App seems to have problems playing videos using VP9 codec. (most of them)
Update I went back to (flashed) the previous Beta and youtube is working again.
My Mi Box is connected to an old 1366x768 pixels HDTV and I noticed some 4K videos or some 4k HDR videos won't play normal on Youtube, they buffer a lot and the audio is twice or more the speed, they sound accelerated, this always happen with a free short movie I got from google play movies called "Sintel", which also appears on my youtube library as a 4K video, I also tested other 4K videos, some of them play normal but others don't.
This is an example of a video that won't play normal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuAmv2PsqEw
Obviously the videos won't play in 4K but according to statistics they play at a maximum resolution of 1080p/24, 1080p/30 or 1080p/60 depending on the video.
Do you have the same issue?
Since MiBox is now officially an AndroidTV device, can you access Amazon video like on Shield?
Found this old thread https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidTV/comments/56jm3o/psa_amazon_video_works_on_the_mi_box/ but seems like Amazon had that apk removed since. I was thinking of getting MiBox but if I can't access my Amazon Prime account videos, I don't know if it's worth it. I use Amazon video, netflix, hbogo, and kodi on a regular basis.
