Hey everyone,
All right, so I'm having a small problem that I can't seem to figure out:
Whenever I connect my Verbatim 8GB USB drive into the TV, it just doesn't seem to be able to recognize it. With that being said, whenever I go to the settings and click on "Storage & reset", it says "Verbatim USB drive is safely ejected". So, it seems to at least detect it momentarily before immediately ejecting it and not allowing it to be read or accessed on the TV by any means. No apps seem to be able to read it at all, not even Kodi can recognize it.
At first I thought it might be a formatting issue, and figured maybe the TV can't read NTFS (that's what my drive was formatted to initially), so I formatted it to FAT32, but still no luck.
Any clue what the heck is going on?

I plugged in a 128 MB (yup, from school days) Kingston USB I had lying around and it seems to work just fine. I can access it from the "Storage & reset menu", as well as other apps.
I can't figure out what the heck is going on, because my Verbatim USB works just fine on everything else, including other TVs.

From looking around online, it looks to be an Android TV issue, and it seems to be happening to a lot of Shield users.
