I have a T95X box with Bluetooth. I can't seem to get the google remote to connect to this box.

Anyone have another suggestion remote for iOS?

Hello Guys, I've managed to transform my shield as a kind of "torrent seedbox" that I can manage from my computer, all the files are downloaded to a 1TB external hard drive plugged to the shield. Now I would like to access theses files from my computer through my local network, I've already tried to set up a ftp server but I can only see the files, I'm unable to read them or to transfer them... Any ideas?

Read some people are having issues with Netflix and YouTube, as someone who has 60fps issues before the update they are now fixed. If anyone wants to check for themselves, go into settings on your YouTube app and enable stats for nerds and watch a 60fps video.

Loving my Mi Box, but I was wondering if anyone has a solution to get more game icons on the Home screen?

I have my home menu set to re-order the most recent apps/games, but it seems that it will only keep 6 game icons at a time on the home screen.

The app row above the game row seems to keep an infinite amount. Any way to change this behavior?

Just a quick note for those who have a Mi Box. At the beginning whenever you wanted to use a external USB drive as a storage, the app will crash and it would not not. With this new update to my surprise, one of the first things that the system did when it rebooted is asking me what to do with the external USB drive that it detected. It asked me if I wanted to use it as an internal storage or external. Did the proper formatting, (which before it will crash) and then proceeded to move data to the storage drive.

It is not Nougat yet but at least we get something new to use.

The plex server feature is great, but it doesn't seem like there is an easy way to add videos if using an external hard drive. Is there anyway to remotely put files onto the hard drive while keeping it connected to the Shield?

When I go to SHIELD settings>storage I can see the hard drive, but when I go to the plex web app on my computer I can't tell the server to look for files in it. Can anybody help?

I got a sony x750D not too long ago and just tried to sideload the APK for the latest version of Xfinity TV - it crashes on startup. Xfinity TV Go won't install so I assume that's defunct at this point - does anyone have a working Xfinity TV APK I can sideload?

Edit: I have found a few APK's that allow me to get to the Xfinity "Get Started" front screen, but when I click "Get Started" it opens Playstation Video. I've tried several times, clearing the cache in PS Video app etc, but everytime I click Get Started it reopens PS video asking for permissions.... thoughts?

I woke up this morning to the joy of news that the Mibox had received an update. Looking through the comments a few had mentioned that the "storage bug" had been fixed, so I decided it was time to put my 64gb flash drive I had purchased for this exact purpose to work.

I updated the Mibox, then went to settings, storage, my usb drive, and selected move data. The next 40 or so minutes were spent sitting and waiting as the "Moving data to Sandisk USB drive..." screen did its thing. This process does not usually take this long, so I got impatient and backed out.

The drive now showed as "not connected". I then reseated the drive and attempted to restart the process. It started, and then I got "System UI has stopped".

After a quick reboot I attempted the process again, this time removing all apps that were previously installed on the USB drive before hand.

Still no dice. The drive shows as "not connected" every time I try the process.

I'm at a loss. Is this feature STILL not fully fixed? Has anyone successfully done this yet?

Edit: I have found the issue! I was using a file explorer called AnExplorer that was taking default rights of the drive away from the system.

I uninstalled the app and the migration took all of 60 seconds!

DONT USE ANEXPLORER!!!

I am thinking of buying the mi-box, however I am completely new to the android tv game, I would really appreciate if someone could answer these questions for me:

1. I have read that the mi-box has hdmi 2.0 port, would I be able to attach a non 2.0 hdmi based lcd with it?
2. Is it possible to download and install the mobile based apps on it from the play store? Just like we can install iphone apps on the ipad ? Or it only allows to download android tv apps?

I'm in daydream settings and I just wanna select all of the themes for it can I do this?

For example the youtube app doesent let you view comments or modify playlists and google play music doesent let you add to playlists or library

Please recite the problems with device that need to be fixed.

Wondering if any of the beta users can comment on how stable HDHomeRun DVR is at this point. I saw some comments from SD saying that they will have a release candidate by the end of Q1-17...meanwhile I am patiently waiting to ditch WMC. I understand DRM channels won't be supported for some time, but how is the overall experience otherwise? SD's comments made it sound like small things like close captioning were the only things they had to sort out (aside from DRM of course).

I have never used or experienced DD+...

all my other devices just use DD, DTS etc. 2.0 3/2.1

when watching netflix via mi box my receiver shows DD+ 3/2.1

but the audio level is quite low compared to everything else i have hooked up in my system.. or even the mi box when it is outputing PCM etc. I hae to turn the volume on my receiver up high in order to compensate. Its jnot that big of a deal but i hate doing it because if i accidentally change the inputs without putting the volume down, the sound could be really loud.

Am I missing something regarding DD+...
