Hi guys!! So I just lost me original remote for my box. So I try to use my wireless mouse to interact with my box but it’s useless. On the screen, there is a cursor but I cannot click on the number or anything else. Is there any solution?

What IPTV app for android TV can I use that accept google assistant commands?

I use PerfectPlayer, IPTVExtreme, TVirl, kodi

but none of them seems to allow interaction from google home voice commands

I am planing to buy Xiaomi soundbar.Which has no remote.

But if it's connected it with S/PDIF on android tv its volume can be control via tv remote.

So before i buy i need to know this.

I mean, it's ok, but now it's just like loading a 'channels' app, it interrupts TV - isn't overlayed over the current channel so the sound stops when loading it and why is everything so L A R G E, it's a 40inch tv, the stuff could be smaller. Doesn't seem part of the TV anymore, more like I've downloaded a recommendations app that you run instead of watching TV...

Is there any apps I can tweak the Home Screen with or rollback to my previous home screen?

I have noticed that as soon as USB debugging is enabled, my ethernet usb dongle stops working. Is it possible to somehow have ADB enabled while still using the ethernet dongle?

Hi everyone, having a bit of an issue and can't figure out what is causing it.

Basically I have a VPN setup, USA google account, but live in Canada.

I have Hulu, and I use it on my PC just fine, and on my phone just fine with a sideloaded APK.

I side loaded the APK onto my TV - at the end of the install I hit 'open' and it opens, and I can watch Hulu just fine.

The problem is, the second I close the app, or back out - it's gone, poof. No icons, no anything. If I re-install the APK it asks to modify an existing installation, so it's in there somewhere... but I get no icon/way to launch it.

Anyone had this for Hulu, or any other apps? It's driving me nuts.

Hey guys it's been a minute since I looked at new devices. Does anyone know of an Android based system that will do hdr10 and Dolby vision? I know the newest Apple TV does but am hopeful to find an Android box?

Actually I want to watch my korean drama's with Viki. Sadly Tizen samsung is no longer supported by Viki.

So I thought about getting a xiaomi S but I am not sure... I read people have a lot of trouble with it.

A Nvidia shield is out of the question as it is to expensive for me... So I was thinking perhaps get a chromecast ultra maybe? I do not know, I dislike the idea of chromecasting... You need your phone at all times. I would like the freedom just to have this box next to me.

I will mainly watch 1080P cause I don't care much for 4k. I got a 4k tv just because every bloody tv is 4k nowadays. Also I should mention I got a 43 inch tv so it's not as big... I mean I'd get why you want 4k on a very big screen.

So please help me.

If you got something outside of the mibox or chromecast ultra that is also good. Perhaps even a normal chromecast would do as a cheap option?

Is anyone here is interested in trading a shield tv for an apple tv 4th gen?

So these are in a bedroom tv.. The Mi Box and Apple TV seem to have major problems with connecting to and staying connected to the WiFi in this room.. The reason that this is weird is because on the same TV i bought the cheapest Roku (Roku Express) and have had Zero WiFi issues.. Also same thing with a 2nd generation Fire TV Box that has been connected over here in the past.. Since this is an Android TV sub I will talk mostly about the Mi Box but seem to have same problem with Apple TV.. But bought the Mi Box S last week and ever since connecting I get a “Fair” or “Poor” WiFi connection and now it just wont connect I am wondering if Mi Box and Apple TV run the same kind of WiFi and it being possibly different than Roku that it is giving me all kinds of problems.. Has anyone else run into this kind of problem and what solution have you found to fix these kinds of issues? Thanks for any replies..

I am about to buy a Mi Box but before pushing the order button I'd like to know if it is possible to control the TV (on/off, sound, change hdmi channel) only using the Mi Box remote?

I am asking this because I currently have 2 remote to control my TV & my TV provider box ... having a 3rd remote does not excite me :/

So i have a Sony Bravia, 138.8 cm, 55XE8096, 4K Ultra HD, and i have an Xbox 1x, with HDR settings on etc etc but... the image seems ... dull... i've seen clip recordings from the game and looks way better on a whatever monitor (the colors and HDR) than on the TV itself. It must be the settings, but i am not sure what... Could anyone post me their color/hdr config, so you get a great HDR experiance?

I know it's not OLED but still, it should have better colors than my full HD 100cm tv...

Settings pictures, steps, recommendations are welcome. And YES, i am connected to HDMI2 and the Xbox shows me all the green checkmarks for the TV.

Aslo, what is with the Smoothness option? it seems to be the same whatever the setting i use...
