Does anyone use the UK catch-up services on their ATV boxes?

None are optimised for ATV and so a mouse is needed but I've been please try surprised how well they seem to work now compared to previously.

Such a shame My5 won't do HD - but then I don't think they do on any platform.

I've had my mibox for about a year. I originally had exchanged it a few times because of minor streaming issues on Vue and Sling. Programming on Vue would stammer sometimes (stop and go) and Sling would buffer or have a weird frame rate at times. I ended up just settling thinking it was an issue with the service providers. On a whim last week, I picked up a cheap 29.00 Roku and installed Sling. The stream quality has been phenomenal. Far superior than the mibox in my opinion. So now I use the Roku to stream Sling or Vue and the mibox for Freeflix and Terrarium, etc.. Anyone else have had this experience with mibox?

I had a USB thumbdrive set up and formatted for the Mi box. I removed for a few minutes to try something, and now that I've plugged it back in, I can't install anything onto it. It recognizes is as storage from what I can tell, and I can open all the app that I previously installed. I can't however, install anything new. It just states that I don't have enough storage space. It's trying to install internally i'm assuming, the usb still has 49 gig left. Is there a way I can specify where to store new files?

Out of nowhere my dreamlink box has no signal i tried on 2 tvs?

Hey everyone, I have an Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet that can't hold a long charge well anymore and I am wondering if there are any launchers/apps that would allow it to act more closely to an android tv ? I'm mostly looking for apps that would allow me to control a majority of it with a bluetooth remote. Thanks !

Hi all I bought a new 55 inches 4k Android TV with HDMI 2.0 and Android 6.0 but I can't seem to cast from my phone's youtube or netflix into the TV. It seems my phone youtube/netflix doesn't see the TV as a device.

The strange part is that I have installed Plex in the TV and I can cast from the phone's Plex into the TV, and I also can cast from the Phone's youtube into the PS4 youtube. The only issue seems to happen between the TV and the phone Youtube/Netflix.

What should I do? Oh, my phone is Oneplus One.

I've installed Aerial Dream on my new bravia and its so beautiful, but it freezes on the beginning of the second clip. I've seen the developer used to post here now and then - so, /u/DrCachapa - Any chance for a fix? We really like this and want to use it!!

Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining about them being away, but neither my new Philips 55PUS7272 or my nvidia shield 2017 have shown me any adds in their lifetime. Phillips has been with me since I bought it from black Friday sale, but shield has been with me since the new 2017 pro unit got released.

I don't believe that it is something in my network settings, because apart from wlan settings they are pretty much In the factory settings. Also when I try out the normal YouTube app in my phone (using my wifi or mobile connection) those adds come through normally. And also if I use my old panasonic tx-l47et5y tv and it's youtube then I get adds as well.

Needless to say that youtube Red subscription is not available in my country, so that can't be the reason either.

Am I the only one here facing serious issues with YouTube on my Mi Box 3 (international version) ?

It's been 3 months now and I can't play any videos from this app. What a shame. When I try to watch a video, it loads with a black screen and then I can't do anything, I have to reboot my box because it's not responsive anymore...

EDIT : i'm talking about YouTube app for Android TV, not YouTube TV for Android TV.

I have 1028 installed on both my Mi boxes but they are slow as hell now. I think its because i never reseted them, just installed all updates after eachother.

What is the best way to make them as new, with 1028? How do i do a complete reinstall?

1028 is still the best build right?

Does anyone else have an issue with live tv and DVR on the tv app? It crashed every time I try to record something and the epg doesn’t update very often. Works well on every other platform I use it on.
