For the life me, I cannot figure out how to pair the bluetooth connection from my Hub to the App/Ultimate remote.

I have tried deleting the profiles on the remote and app ... but I still remain stuck on Shield's 'searching for bluetooth devices' screen.

Everything else works fine ... like the XBOX and Apple TV.

Makes me wanna rage like being stuck on that one level in the NES Ninja Turtle Game.

Any suggestions?!

Just received my box and I'm hoping someone can help me solve this problem. At first, I connected my Bluetooth headphones and the audio was cutting in and out. I use these headphones on my phone with no problem so I thought it was weird. I tried connecting through the game controller and am having the same problem. Anyone know if there is a fix for this problem?

HI, I've recently bought this MIBOX 4K International Version in Vietnam and everything's been working out well not until when I brought this box to Australia just today, when I tried turning it on the first time, I couldnt pair the remote with the box and it stuck so I unplugged it and tried again but then up until now it keeps on rebooting up until the 4 circles animation and once a while it keeps saying ''Optimising apps 13 out of 13'' and started rebooting, I couldn't hard reset due to the remote is not paired. Is there any way that I could hard reset it or is it bricked? Thank you.

So.... the onscreen keyboard for Shield tv is in the ABCD format as opposed to Qwerty. Is there any way to change this?

Since the recent forced update to oero I was currently on 7.1.2 with root and twrp recovery after the forced update I lost root and twrp recovery I was wondering if I can regain root without a computer since I don't have access to one right now since my PC is down if there is a way of doing it would be great thanks!

hey guys, hope this is the right place to put this, since i updated kodi ive been having problems with playback, and im not the most tech savvy person, i know how to keep things updated and clean my memory etc, but wondering what i can do to improve the playback quality? sometimes it works great and sometimes it doesnt, and the problem is not my internet connection.

Does anyone wise think that the latest YouTube App on androidtv is garbage? I can't believe how bad this upgrade has been and doesn't seem to our be a resolution in sight.

What kills me is how subscriptions have now amounted to one like of alphabetical lists of channels and their uploads in on line. Unbelievable. Having to scroll through the start of the alphabet each time you open a subscription and then constant clicking to get through the latest.

Just bad user interface completely after really enjoying the last version (red) this current version (black) is just God awful.

Anyone think the same or have some alternatives?

Hello, We have two Mi Boxes on the nougat beta. Over black friday, I picked up some harmony smart controls to connect to them. It works great, but there's the omission of microphone input. I've seen people report success connecting a webcam to sony android tv's and the nvidia shield, but I haven't had any luck with the mi box. I tried a PS3 eye, a logitech camera, and a microsoft one with no apparent results. Has anyone else had luck with this?

Recently I have been having issues with movies and TV shows. It's like the content gets displayed at a low frame rate. Like playing a game on a PC that isn't powerful enough. It happens on local content, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc...

It seems like this started after the latest update. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Just got a Mi Box plugged on the TV. Deezer, Youtube etc work okay, but the main use would be to play movies/series from the HDD.

I thought about having the HDD plugged on the laptop and playing from the MI Box, but the SMB support appears to be lacking. (depending on directories, I can browse files from the /Downloads/ folder, but not from externaldrive:/movies , failing login with correct credentials )

So I plugged the HDD into the box directly. It works fine, but I need to access the HDD from the laptop (c/p files, set up subtitles etc). I can't find the way to do that :(

Windows 8.1
Network shows MIBox 3 but no way to access
SMB only shows my user account
Tried installing a SMB server on the box but doesn't seem to work with external storage.

What am I doing wrong ?

So I got nbn internet connected at 24mbps and all was well. I was getting 24mbps when I tested the connection on my ps4. I decided to upgrade to 100mbps to stream 4k videos and ever since the upgrade my ps4 is showing around 10mbps in speed test. Kodi is barely able to stream 720p and I still cant watch 4k on youtube on my android tv without buffering. Speed test results on my samsung phone are around 94mbps. Any ideas? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. Thanks in advance.

CAn't find them anywhere. Even nvidia is only listing gen 1.

The videos load on Web Video Caster but they don't cast to my Mi Box. Casting the tab from chrome instead is way too laggy.
