Anyone know where these are updated? The running list here doesn't seem to work anymore, only Google drive didn't give me an error.
For the Mi Box 4th gen
I've seen lots of recommendation regarding ASIX AX88772-based USB-to-Ethernet dongles, cause they work (because the drivers for that are compiled into early linux kernels).
However I was looking at ASIX AX88179-based dongles (like this). It is USB3 which supports up to 1Gbps. I know that Mi Box only has USB2, but the USB2 can support something upto 480Mbps, whereas the *772-based dongles max out at 100Mbps. So, even though I won't get full 1Gbps from *179-based dongles, at least it would be closer to maxing out the capabilities of the USB2 port.
Does anyone have any successful, or unsuccessful experience with ASIX AX88179 and Mi Box?
I recently purchased a Shield TV, mainly so I can stream games on my 4k TV.
When I hook up my computer directly via HDMI, everything looks beautiful.
However, when using gamestream the colors are extremely washed out. The blacks are extremely crushed (visible gradients). In short, it looks like crap. I've played around with my TV settings and nothing seems to make it look better.
I have a Vizio p65 4k HDTV
Anyone know of a fix?
EDIT:
Here are pictures.
The colors are not uniform when using gamestream: https://screencast.com/t/MkQkZEUf
This is what it looks like when directly connected via HDMI, MUCH better: https://screencast.com/t/wBY9K5uwl66H
